What an excellent show, W.A.S.P. at the Ryman in Nashville, TN. Some think of Nashville as being just a country music town, but you surprised by the number of rock stars that you know, that now call this area, "Home!" The Ryman is an excellent place to experience a rock show, the acoustics are perfect. W.A.S.P. was in excellent form. I dont think they've ever sounded better, including Blackie's vocals. Great show & set list. I cant say enough good things about this performance. Same with Armored Saint, the opening act on this night. Excellent vocals & great musicianship. See these 2 bands when u can! You won't be disappointed.

I was there, front row, watching the event unfold. I am a young adult fan and have waited 16 years to see WASP live. What I was met with was a half hearted performance filled with obvious lip synching to songs such as The Flame, The Torture Never Stops, Animal, Blind In Texas (partially), and I wanna be somebody. I was in the front row during this event, it was obvious when it was live vs when it was not. I am not an apologist for Blackie and never will be. The ultimate sin for me is when one of my favorite musicians ever gets up on stage and fakes the funk for those of us who pay hard earned money to see him perform. I have loved this band since I first discovered them watching a VH1 documentary titled Heavy: The Story of Metal, Part 3, then discovering their music videos, before going to school every morning, when they were airing on VH1, I still remember buying Babylon when I was a junior in High School, recalling listening to it the first time, and how the hair on the back of my neck stood up… I do not care what anyone says, when I see a live performance I want it to be LIVE, anything else is fake and dishonest. I love Blackie but I want these shows to be 100% authentic, not lip synching to the original studio vocal during what’s supposed to be a live performance.

What an immense pleasure it was to finally see Blackie and his boys in the flesh. I have been waiting for this moment since I discovered W.A.S.P in 1988 with the Electric Circus cassette. The Setlist was spotless (maybe just missing Sleeping in the Fire) but what really transpired was Blackie’s devotion to his fan base. You could really feel the pain on Blackie’s face (I was at the barrier) but he would not give up and delivered his best for us. Many would have walked off the stage but Blackie just cut the set short by 2 songs and troopered his way through. I was fortunate to catch the only pick he threw the whole show and this will remain my most praised memorabilia. Thank you so much for all you are doing for us fans. Get better soon!

Leider war die Show viel zu kurz, doch wenn ein kaputter Rücken sich meldet, dann ist das hald ein Grund, den ich persönlich akzeptieren kann! Ich hatte das Glück und hatte ein Meet and Greet mit Blackie gebucht. Wie schon mehrfach erfahren ist er ein super Typ, bodenständig und voll für seine Fans parat!!! Wir konnten es geniessen!!! Selten ein so angenehmer Gastgeber angetroffen, der sich so viel Zeit für seine Fans nimmt!!! Es war wirklich ein Top Event!!! Vielen lieben Dank und gute Besserung an Blackie!!! WASP brought a wave of nostalgia to Moriskan in Malmö with an amazing performance that sounded as great as ever. The band, led by the charismatic frontman Blackie Lawless, delivered a powerful set that showcased their iconic heavy metal sound and energy. From the opening notes of "On Your Knees" to the closing chords of "I Wanna Be Somebody", WASP kept the audience on their feet and singing along to every song. The setlist featured a mix of classic hits and fan favorites, including "L.O.V.E. Machine", "Wild Child", and "Blind in Texas", as well as newer tracks like "Scream". The band's musicianship was top-notch, with Doug Blair shredding on guitar, Mike Duda laying down solid bass lines, and Aquiles Priester providing thunderous drumming. Blackie Lawless was in top form, delivering his trademark vocals and engaging with the crowd throughout the show. He took a moment to reflect on the band's history and thanked the fans for their continued support over the years. It was clear that the feeling was mutual, as the audience responded with cheers and applause. Overall, WASP's concert at Moriskan was a fantastic experience that brought back memories of the glory days of heavy metal. The band sounded amazing, the crowd was enthusiastic, and the atmosphere was electric. If you get the chance to see WASP live, don't miss it!

W.A.S.P. were awesome, the sound was great and so were the crowd. Blackie keeps going in such a way after more than forty years. Amazing artists, and their Lead Guitarist Doug Blair is simply phenomenal! I know that most look at W.A.S.P. and see just Blackie, but the rest of the band are also amazing professionals and Doug Blair is by far one of the best guitarists around. Such a fantastic act, they brought tears in my eyes with all those amazing anthems from the eighties (“Wild Child” and “L.O.V.E. Machine” sounded fantastic!), and with the powerfully emotional songs from their genius “The Crimson Idol” album. For me W.A.S.P. will always be one of the best Heavy Metal / Rock’n’Roll Bands out there and I regret so much not being able to travel to Bucharest in May 2023 to see them there again. I grew up there and was listening to W.A.S.P. in awe as a teenager in the mid eighties, in a communist and extreme totalitarian regime ruled Romania, where such music was largely banned. So seeing W.A.S.P. there live would have such a special meaning for me, in an emotional way. And when W.A.S.P. will play again in Bucharest in May 2023, they will send a strong message to all those dictators in the world: You are not eternal, Freedom and Art will always outlast you!!! Always Rock’n’Roll Rebels, always Metal Giants: W.A.S.P. forever! ❤️

What a great show! Blackie was a total PRO and was very gracious and personable, engaging with everyone individually at the meet & greet. THEN... Armored Saint opened up with Reign of Fire and never let up! They sounded great and put on a killer show. W.A.S.P. was everything I hoped for and more. Excellent band, great sound, awesome song selection and a really cool venue to see an intimate show. Blackie can STILL get it done! Also, Jay, our VIP Liaison, is a great guy and a really cool. He worked his ass off all night! I actually saw the first THREE shows of this tour... Las Vegas, Anaheim & Phoenix, and they only got better each night. I also met and hung out with Stet Howland and his wife at the Vegas show. They were both SO cool and a lot of fun! Great Job all the way around! I will NEVER forget it!

Fantastic performances from Armored Saint and W.A.S.P.. The meet and greet with Blackie Lawless could have started a bit earlier as to not overlap the opening of the doors for the show. I got my photos and bailed on the q&a because I would have rather been in the front row for the entire sow than ask Blackie a question. So, I don't feel that I received my full money's worth for the meet & greet. I could have just paid $40 for early access as opposed to what I paid for the meet & greet. Anyway, great venue, great sound, decent lighting, friendly and helpful staff, there is no reason to not see a show at this great venue.

My son and I were fortunate to participate in the meet and greet. Blackie was very nice and accommodating. He spent a lot of time with us fans and gave us all a chance to say hello and answered all our questions. Jay (VIP manager) was also super nice. The meet and greet ticket was well worth the price. Now the concert, the band was on fire. I had concerns about the over-usage of backing tracks. Blackie sang his heart out. I saw it from the front row and he sounded as good as ever,. The band was awesome as well. The lead guitarist was incredible. I’ve been a W.A.S.P. fan for 35 years. I finally got to meet my childhood idol and saw him and his band crush the stage live. What an experience. I highly recommend both the meet and greet experience and W.A.S.P. live. Thank you Blackie 🤘🏽

I’m utterly AWESTRUCK! This was my first concert since the pandemic, so I made it count! Flew all the way down from Oregon to see this legendary band and threw in extra for the M&G. This entire trip was worth every Penny (and the lack of sleep lol). Blackie was absolutely wonderful; very kind, wise, and has so much to tell, even when he’s busy and knows he has to be somewhere. He will still make the time for his fans and answer any question you have. I was so nervous to meet him until he walked into the room; it felt like your friendly old neighbor coming in just to say hi — it’s so refreshing to meet a star who still knows how to be a human being. As for the show, everyone was in top form — even during the last leg of a busy tour! I’d never seen Armored Saint before (nor never really listened to them), but HOLY COW they blew me away right from the gate! I think they’ve just earned themselves a new fan (hahaha)! W.A.S.P. didn’t take long to get on stage after AS. Once again, Blackie and the boys didn’t disappoint. Getting rushed in the crowd was worth it — I was only being pushed closer to the front row! I’ll remember and cherish this night for a very long time… and I Blackie Gale the same — and really does enjoy the drawing I gave him at the M&G (hahaha).

The 3 hour drive to Versailles was totally worth it. This show was the best show I’ve ever seen in my life. Totally fell in love with the venue and the staff there are friendly and amazing. Armored Saint was so killer and did more than warm up the crowd amazing live band that you don’t wanna miss. W.A.S.P. Exceeded all expectations. Blackie was amazing and his band were tight. Played all the classics and the show was a fun wild experience. My only complaint was I didn’t want it to end. If you get the chance you need to see this show

This was not the W.A.S.P. I remember seeing in 1985. Obviously. It being a 40 year anniversary of the band, I expected more from the hype that Blackie created around this tour. It was good to hear the songs again, however the visuals simply weren’t there. The band was extremely good & the vocals were quite good. An admission of enhancement did take place in a fairly recent interview I read somewhere. That I don’t necessarily agree with but, the admission was forthright. It would’ve been nice to see Chris Holmes, Randy Piper & Steve Riley back with him for this anniversary tour. They’d have faired better in bigger venues. But, all bygones can’t take place, sadly. Overall, it was a good show. I’m just so glad I got to see them I’m their heyday. 🤟🎶🇺🇸

I was excited for months to go see W.A.S.P. because they're my favorite. Not sure how it's possible that it was 100,000x better than I imagined the show would be but it was. The stage set was wicked awesome. Aquiles, Mike and Doug are mind-blowingly talented. Jay made sure I had the best time of my life at the VIP hangout with Blackie and I would 100% go back in time and relive it if possible. No one sounds quite like Blackie and that's just a fact. If you can somehow get a ticket to one of the last few sold out (or nearly sold out) tour dates, you better do it while you still can.

As I type this, it’s been 2 days since the concert and I still don’t think I have the words to describe how I felt about the show in Atlanta. It truly was one of the most special nights of my life. To see the man behind who has essentially been the soundtrack to a good portion of my life was incredible. Every single song I felt like I was completely caught up in the moment and I was able to amplify how I listened to the band in the car or at home and be able to truly let loose. I love the Crimson Idol album very much so I was happy to hear 3 tracks from it, 2 of them being my favorites. I never thought I would see the band live as I had opportunities prior many years ago but both gigs were cancelled. I pray that they have more tours in the States as I will be there!

Amazing show, one of the best I’ve ever seen. W.A.S.P. has been my favorite band for many years now and to finally be able to see them live was a true blessing. Everything from the meet and greet to the show was absolutely perfect. It’s tough to put into words how awesome this show was. All I can say is that Blackie Lawless is a true musical genius and an incredible talent, and getting to witness him doing it in person is something else. I would highly recommend everyone going to see W.A.S.P. live! Thank you so much to Blackie, the rest of the band, and their crew who all managed to put this tour together. Hope to see you again soon!

Love 'Blackie'/Steven! I am a lifelong fan, 1st time concert (age 49). (Blackie knows who I am! I was at the front of the lower platform, where the lighting & sound/technicians were (I kept dancing with the heart in the air!!!) The music was, as always, to be expected, ELECTRIFYING!!! I was very sad though, that 2 songs went so long (chainsaw charlie-the guitar solo could have gone into a few other songs, for fans to keep the energy going as it got a 'dark' sad vibe at this point). I was also disheartened, that we did not get to hear Golgatha &/or, Heaven's Hung in Black. (it was actually on a setlist that I had viewed a week before the concert, there were many in my area that were expecting to hear these 2 & a few more songs...We ALL gave a STANDING OVATION, because the energy was THAT STRONG...as Blackie stated, the ticket companies did not think they could sell as many tickets as they did & several shows are close to, or, ARE, SOLD OUT!!! I could not afford the meet and greet, because I really wanted to share with Steven, that my son was Native American Indian & had diedm & between the snowflake on the ceiling, & the t-shirt with my son's name on it, were 2 signs, that my son's spirit was there with us. My goal for a meet & greet, would have been to ask, for him to get involved, or start up a foundation for Native Americans, (no matter what age) that helps Natives suffering/mental health issues, such as Native Americans dealing with suicide. As for Armored Saint, the lead singer was sick & although the fill-in singer was able to keep his vocals strong, it certainly was not what the crowd paid for & we were most certainly expecting the actual lead singer. Sadly, a let-down for a 1st time concert goer such as myself & honestly, I had never heard of Armored Saint, so, I WAS expecting to hear the original front-man. It was not until tonight, (a day after the concert, that I had viewed a web page, that I was made aware that the lead singer was not singing.

Phenomenal !!! I've been a fan of these guys from Day #1 and saw them countless times over the past 40 years. Tonight was one of those "magic shows". The band sounded great. Clever stage design with the circus banners and video screens. I get how hard it has to be for a band that has been around this long to have to put a setlist together so I won't complain (there is nothing to complain about). I would have loved to see them do "Thunderhead" and ANYTHING from "Neon God II". My own personal gripe is that I really wish that Blackie would go back to using B.C. Rich Warlocks as opposed to the LDTs that he uses. It was my first time at The Paramount and it immediately became my favorite venue. Such a comfortable, chill place. The staff was friendly and nobody acting like a drunken jackass. The venue's surroundings are really nice. A nice small town vibe. In the remote chance that Blackie sees this, I would like to say "thank you" to him. WASP's music has always been very special to me. Not trying to get on a soapbox or anything but the past year has been hell. I had a massive stroke in December 2021 from which I was not expected to survive. In June my father passed away. 10 days after his passing my best non-human friend on the planet got out of the house. I am talking about my parrot "Rocky". Coolest bird ever. How many parrots will sit on the headstock of your guitar and headbang ? WASP's music got me through a very rough period of time. Ps: By some miracle I got "Rocky" back in mid-July.

So excited to wake up to my Blackie Lawless W.A.S.P meet & greet pics! This was by far one of my favourite meet & greets ever! It’s up there with Poison and Steven Adler. There were only 25 people per meet & greet which was nice and small. We got to meet him, get two items signed, get photos with him, have a Q&A session where each and every person got to ask a question. He was extremely honest with his answers. He answered questions regarding Chris Holmes without saying a single bad word about Chris, regardless what Chris has been telling the media most recently, which has been BAD. I chose to ask him about how he denounced Christianity at a young age saying he was brainwashed as a child into it by his parents, then focused on occultism, I then asked if his constant use of crucifixes and religious icons on his album covers was a bit of a F#*! You to Christianity. I asked this knowing that awhile ago he had since gone back to Christianity completely, but I knew he would give me an honest heartfelt answer which he did. And it was great! It was probably a 2-3 minute answer, and he did this with everyone. He treated everyone like a proper human being as opposed to just a number, like too many rockers do unfortunately. After the Q&A, we got to go behind the scenes and onto the stage to take a pic on his iconic, unique, one-of-a-kind famous microphone stand he calls ‘Elvis’… this mic stand is amazing!!!!! And you can see Blackie’s original B. C. Rich Widow Bass Guitar is there too. And of course we got some guitar picks too… and with a bit of talking I made sure I got 3 times that amount 😝 Unfortunately I’ve seen some negative comments on W.A.S.P fan pages about Blackie’s appearance, that he looks miserable, doesn’t want to be there, etc. (comments from people NOT at the meet & greets) but honestly the man is a ray of sunshine! He may have a touch of resting bitch face dare I say it… but he definitely loves his fans and loves to be surrounded by them!! He just isn’t good at smiling even if he tries 😅 Trust me, he has the right intentions and loves his fans first and foremost! Secondly, I’ve seen so many posts about possibly lip syncing and backing tracks etc. I know a lot of older musicians do this and sure when you are his age it’s more common, but I was front row, I watched so carefully and I truly believe Blackie did not lip sync. I’d have no problem admitting if he did. But I really do not for a second think he did. And that even shocks me. The guy is 66 years old and he’s just himself. Not perfect, doesn’t try to be, but he’s amazing just the way he is. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Nothing like seeing one of your all time Favorite Bands. Armoured Saint were Great with John Bush killing the Vocals. .loved his time with Anthrax. Then it was MSG. Phenomenal guitars, great vocals with Romero. Still wished for the Robin MCAULEY voice on the Hits that were not played. That would have completely lit the candles on the cake, oh well..... Then the almighty Blackie. Vocals were on par, a Lil help going on. Still came off legit. And Damn!!! The drums and guitars SLAYED the Night. Have to understand and be there specifically for the Crimson Idol stuff. I teared up, major memories of then.

This show was so much fun, both wasp and armored Saint were awesome, highly recommend any wasp , armored Saint or heavy metal fans check out this tour, I also did the vip and it was great, if you are on the fence about getting the vip it’s awesome and one of the best vips I have ever done, traditionally vips are so fast and not worth the money at all , but I really liked the wasp one , a real great q & a and I got to meet the legend blackie lawless and it came with some other cool stuff like blackie’s guitar picks
