I spent years in the Northeast music scene — from Rochester to Cleveland — singing, writing, fronting bands, and living the kind of life you can only live when you’re young and chasing every opportunity that comes your way. It was loud, chaotic, exciting, and exhausting. Eventually, it wasn’t the music that burned me out — it was everything around it.

So I stepped away and moved to Raleigh.
Six years. No shows. No studios. No scene. Just quiet.

Somewhere in that silence, I realized I didn’t fall out of love with singing or writing. I fell out of love with the noise — the business, the pressure, the expectations, the grind. And with the distance, the space, and the quiet, the music finally found its way back.

Now I record everything myself. No deadlines, no gatekeepers, no rules. Just songs built on experience, not expectations — songs that come from the heart, not the noise — the kind of music I would’ve made from the start if I’d had the clarity I have now.

This isn’t about going back.
It’s about finally sounding like myself.
