A propos de Giants of Science
The Giants of Science are a Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland. The band have self-described their sound as 'psych-rock'. They have released two albums; "Here Is The Punishment" (2005) and "The History of Warfare" (2002).
Based around the songs of lead singer and guitar player, Ben Salter, the first album featured elements from sources such as stoner rock bands like Kyuss and Fu Manchu plus Queens of the Stone Age and Australian pub rock. However on Here Is The Punishment the sound became more adventurous musically. That album incorporated instruments such as banjo and piano plus female backing vocals courtesy of Liz and Sarah Kelly from The Red Sun Band.
