STIK N MOVE WIN DEADLY AWARD FOR ‘MOST PROMISING NEW TALENT IN MUSIC’!! Queanbeyan hip hop crew Stik n Move took out the award for Most Promising New Talent In Music at the 2013 Deadlys earlier this week. Stik n Move have been performing their edgy brand of hip hop and spreading their empowering message for less than a year and are currently recording their debut EP with ARIA winner/producer DJ Danielson (Koolism) who has recently started joining rappers TooDeadly and Whiz onstage for their live shows. “This is just the start! Pre-season is done and we’re coming out for Round 1!” said TooDeadly aka Nathan Carter of the win. “Sovereign unity and love is the way forward.” Stik n Move have a free mixtape available for download via their Facebook page, and their debut EP is due for release later this year. Consisting of brothers TooDeadly and Wizz, joined by DJ Danielsan (Koolism) for their live shows, the group's message is described by TooDeadly as being "all about moving forward, doing for self and having fun." This message is being spread with Stik n Move's involvement within the school community, taking their show to schools around Australia. Stik n Move's punching Aussie Hip-Hop sound is self recorded and produced at their 'Burial Ground' studio, situated in an abandoned mechanics shed in Queens, NSW. TooDeadly's Akai MPC 2000xl and Wizz's Renaissance ensure their performances are full of the phat beats and multitude of samples characteristic of their tracks. While working tirelessly toward the release of their much anticipated debut album, Stik n' Move will be releasing a steady stream of singles over the coming months. Deadly Award winner 2013 - Most Promising New Talent In Music * Mixtape out now * Free Download on this page *
