It was a long drive to see Trawl perform, but it was totally worth it. They are a great bunch of guys doing what they love. Their music is best heard live because you get the emotion and energy that comes through in each song. Empire Live is a small venue. It reminds me of hanging out in a ski resort after a day of downhill with friends. I like these shows because you're part of it. The funniest part of the night was when their smoke machine set off the fire alarm. They were there to support Fake Feelings and their EP release. It's awesome when bands help each other.

Trawl put on a great show. I missed a chance to see them a while back so when this performance came up I jumped on it. I planned on going to support Mammothor for their CD release party so it was a bonus to see both bands play together. Trawl has an energy that the fans feed on to make it a fun performance. They are a great New England band worth checking out.
