Standing out as an up and coming hard rock band in the ever evolving music industry is a daunting task. Doing it without a record label or major financial backing makes it damn near impossible. But don't tell that to this quintet from Sacramento, CA. They've been hard at work making a name for themselves for the last couple of years and people are finally taking notice. They've spent the better part of 2013 touring the country in support of their independently released, EP "Revenge", which was produced by Grammy Award winning Producer/Mixer Malcolm Springer. The 5 song effort features 'L.A.', a rock anthem with some unforgettably catchy lyrics such as the chorus line: "Everybody in L.A. / Looks so pretty from far away / But Hollywood is gonna make you a star." The song has become a fan favorite at shows and has received airplay on radio stations like KRXQ 98 Rock in Sacramento, KWOD 106.5 in Sacramento, Z98.5 in Tupelo, MS, KTVI in Tacoma, WA. and many Internet radio stations like V103.net. In June 2013, L.A. was the #1 most requested song on Melodic.net, a popular music review website. Andy Hawk of CBS Radio writes "Track Fighter has been a local favorite for a long time. It's nice to see them getting some credit for all their hard work. This new album is stellar." Ryan Jones of Alternative Addiction says: "I love the new EP 'Revenge' from Track Fighter!" Track Fighter got things started in 2007 with the successful release of "Between Lies & Melodies" an LP produced by Tomas Costanza (Secondhand Seranade & Boys Like Girls). The band gained local fame with the song "Another Memory" which helped them to win two separate radio contests and spots on the Taste of Chaos tour and Warped Tour. Their 2009 EP "Band Aids for Bullet Wounds" was produced multi-platinum selling producer Beau Hill (Warrant, Ratt, Winger). The album saw the successful release of their first single "Too Broken to Mend" which received airplay on over 40 independent radio stations while the band was on tour during the summer of 2009 and spawned a music video, which has over 20,000 plays on Youtube with literally zero promotion. Track Fighter is no stranger to big stages either. They've played with some of the biggest names in Rock today including: Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Escape The Fate, My Chemical Romance, Deftones, Filter, Thrice, Story of The Year, Eve To Adam, Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace, Saliva, Saving Abel, 10 Years, Trapt, Framing Hanley, Pop Evil, Young Guns, Oleander, Mushroomhead, As I Lay Dying and many others.
