HITTERSWITCH is the dynamic duo of Kevin Kumar and Craig Jenkins who paired up after discovering their shared passion for unearthing underground beats and a unique unspoken intuition on the DJ decks. Making their DJ debut in 2012, the duo experimented with an array of genres from old school hip-hop to house electro. Week in, week out drawing adulation from their music hungry and fast expanding legion of fans. Inspired by the likes of DJ royalty such as Tommy Trash, Kid Kenobi, Feed Me and Eptic, the pair has become renowned for delivering high energy sets that captivate crowds and take them to an idyllic musical haven that only HITTERSWITCH has the innate ability to unlock. Holding residency across some of Sydney’s most popular electro night spots including The Wall at World Bar and Level Two Nightclub. HITTERSWITCH boasts an extensive list of international acts that they have played alongside including Clockwork (USA), Porter Robinson (USA), Eptic (Belgium),Crookers (ITALY), Deorro (USA), The M Machine (USA) as well as home-grown heroes including Ember, Will Sparks, SCNDL, Reece Low, Joel Fletcher and many many more. After only a few months of the duo playing together and setting a new benchmark in the music scene, they were selected to play the Official Future Music Festival Afterparty, supporting worldwide renowned DJ/Producer Boys Noize (Berlin), Zeds Dead (Toronto) and Kill The Noise (Los Angeles). Already making massive milestones for 2013, the HITTERSWITCH boys have superseded their goals and made it through to the Your Shot Sydney 2013 competition as a wildcard entry. Set to support a selection of highly respected events across Sydney in the coming months, the boys this year have already played at many respectable events including - Ivy Courtyard featuring Crookers - Porter Robinson at the Metro Theatre On Saturday 1st of December the boys broke through and played their first festival lucky enough to be one of Australia’s most popular Stereosonic, where they absolutely tore it up in the V-Energy Green Room on Day 2.
