A propos de El Juntacadaveres

El Juntacadáveres was created in 2009 and is named after the novel of the Uruguayan writer Juan Carlos Onetti (1964). The novel is the basic source of inspiration for El Juntacadáveres.

This young group was in 2011 winner of the "Mano Mundo" Music Competition, and thus opened the "Mano Mundo" festival on the Main Stage. During the summer of 2011 they played in the open air theather "Rivierenhof" in Belgium as support act for the world famous group "Gotan Project".
The also won the Kokopelli Festival Award in 2012.

Launched by the Argentine musician Enrique Noviello, completed by musicians from different genres: jazz, pop, tango and latin music, they bring a steaming mix of tango, rock and hip-hop.
Meanwhile, the group consists of 7 musicians with an international career that among others worked many years with 'El Maestro' Alfredo Marcucci and shared the stage with the finest orchestras in Buenos Aires.

El Juntacadáveres will gradually find it's true shape: the perfect blend between the traditional tango orchestras and the rebelliousness of the music of today scene.
They have been performing at a number of important Belgian festivals such as Airbag Bruges, Wereldfeesten Leuven, Sfinks Mundia, Polé Polé and Sziget Festival in Budapest.
