A fabulous show, made all the better with the inclusion of Amanda Lehmann on vocals and guitar. Her vocals on 'Shadow of the Heirophant was magnificent. Had Sylvan on the main vocals was brilliant as always. Crystal clear sound and an imaginative light show added to the evening's enjoyment. After the now customary solo Hackett material (new and old) in part one, the 2nd half kicked off with NINE tracks from the complex (and still controversial to some) 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' album. What is also great about seeing a Steve Hackett gig is that he loves to make sure that all of the band take the spotlight and there is no doubt that they all love working together. He doesn't seem to show any signs of slowing down and hopefully there will be another UK Tour in 2025.

Good concert, nice venue, enjoyed the songs. If I'm being picky the sound wasn't ultra fantastic and a bIt distracting with musicians coming on and off the stage which gives the feeling of a tribute band who are just hired guns. Great to hear some of the tracks from the Lamb Lies Down on Broadway though I got the impression that he really wanted to play his favourites from Selling England. No problem with that and he chose well. Woodwind was a bit intrusive in parts and unnecessary in some cases and the least said about the drum solo ........but overall a worthwhile night.

Steve and the band never fail to please. The show was like bringing at a huge party , sharing the love of music new and old with others who appreciated every note and the skill of the musicians. Truly a perfect mix of phenomenally skilled , talented performers and an emotional trip back in time.

I I thought the last time I saw Steve Hackett two years ago was the best concert ever at the goodyear. Somehow this one topped it and it was just an amazing show and I can see why he's had one of the best tours for the last 20 years.

Great show. Went Friday and Saturday. Solo stuff from Steve in the first portion, Genesis Foxtrot featuring Watcher of the Skies, Super’s Ready and Horizon and then ending with Dance on a Volcano from Genesis Trick of the Tail. If I were to create an album with the five legendary guitarists still living, Steve Hackett would be one of them.

Wow. What a show and what a great audience at The Town Hall. The band was perfect and the atmosphere was fantastic. The girl who was dancing in the aisle on the floor almost stole the show and I told her so…. Great job by all.

Always a treat Steve and friends, Vic took over from Craig on drums, not disappointed at all, incredible stick work, horn section (guy)amazing too. Nad always a great performance too. Seconds Out just so full of amazing songs, was Sold Out a week or so before. Great evening as usual !!

Another flawless performance by an incredibly talented band who perfectly complement Steve Hackett. Nad has the perfect match of voice for Peter Gabriel to bring alive memories of the early 70’s. Above all , the relaxed charisma of Steve and his ability to deliver an intimate atmosphere made the show feel so personal despite the size of the audience. Fantastic musician.

Amazing show. Steve is a master of light and shade. The acoustics at the Town Hall are the best in the country IMHO. The lighting was spot on too. Nad Sylvan's delivery of PG's vocals was again brilliant. This was every bit as good as Steve's last show here and we were honoured to have such a generational talent come to NZ. Thanks to the whole promotion team for delivering such a memorable event!

Steve Hackett is the number one progressive rock show on tour. He is at the top of his game. His band is extremely talented and they reproduce early Genesis. I’ve seen them many times and I always walk out, at the end of the concert, feeling uplifted, with a smile on my face. If you get the chance, you should see him. Ticket prices are always very fair.

Near perfect evening. First most of Spectral Mornings with some new numbers and then the complete Selling England. Excellent work from all of the musicians with a special nod to the bassist and vocalist from me. The only problem is that I cannot now get the track ‘Spectral Mornings’ out of my head.

Occasional very bright lights in my eyes and a few obnoxious drunken boors in the audience only took away slightly from an excellent show. All musicians were in top form, and I enjoyed the variety of selections. I was especially impressed with the vocalist - not only did he sound just like Peter Gabriel, he handled the complex sections really well. It’s not often you get to hear great live progressive rock these days.

Para mi Steve Hackett es el mejor guitarrista del mundo. El concierto me gustó igual o tanto como el que tocó en Tarrytown, NY el 2015. Me gustó tanto que lo fui a ver el miércoles 25 al Beacon Theatre en NYC . (Me hubiera gustado escuchar alguna canción de The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway en NYC.

Steve Hackett is the one from Genesis that keeps the old material alive. Not only that. With a strong band the musicians give the songs a fresh sound. Singer Nad Sylvan is so good that you don’t miss Peter Gabriel or Phil Collins. The sound was great and the performance stunning!

Magnifique salle et belle acoustique. Technologiquement un peu limite, le son a saturé à plusieurs moments, mais dans l’ensemble très correct. Premier soir de la nouvelle tournée, donc quelques approximations, quelques fausses notes et inversions dans les textes, le quintet semblait se chercher un peu. Je trouve que Steve abuse un peu trop des effets de sons aigus qui accompagnent quasi systématiquement la finale de plusieurs de ses morceaux plus punchy. Quoi que j’en dise, ça valait largement le déplacement et le prix du billet!

I was expecting a good show but I gotta tell you I was blown away. Steve Hackett is a guitar master. Backed by a tight and versatile band, Hackett ripped through a variety of solo material and his hit with GTR before taking a short intermission. When the band returned they worked their way through Hackett's Genesis catalog for the next hour and 45 minutes. Brilliant recreations kept the crowd spellbound.

Truly awesome seeing Steve again after all these years. He still has the technique and that wonderful full and lyrical sound. He has put together a great band who pulled off the Genesis material flawlessly. It was great hearing a few of the infrequently played Genesis songs, Get 'me Out By Friday, Can Utility and the Coastliners, and After the Ordeal. For me the highlight was The Cinema Show/Aisle of Plenty. It was a very enjoyable trip back to my late teens.
