Chaosophy is a black metal band that was founded in 2012 by Steven Moser. In the following year, Joe Dunn joined the band on bass, followed by Bob Kendall on guitar, solidifying the lineup and bringing their unique talents to the mix. The final piece of the puzzle fell into place in late 2015 when Cernunnos joined the band on drums, adding a powerful and dynamic element to their music.

In 2018, the band achieved a significant milestone with the release of their highly acclaimed “Split” album, a collaborative effort with the band Terranaut. Following the release of the “Split” album, the band entered a partial hiatus as Cernunnos pursued a PhD in theoretical physics.
