Long Night

LONG NIGHT
Genre: Nordic Dark Rock
Origin: Tau-Norway
A Norwegian Dark Rock band from Tau, creating music built on
space weight and atmosphere. Deep Baritone vocals, broad guitar
textures and hypnotic rhythms form the core of a sound that the
band defines as Nordic Dark Rock – dark melodic and cinematic
without being confined by traditional genre boundaries.
The music moves between direct, driving rock and slow burning
compositions that are allowed to breathe repeat and build.
Programmed rhythms combine mechanical precision with
organic weight, while wide, open guitar arrangements give the
music a strong sense of space and scale.
At its heaviest, Long Night is Physical and forceful; at its quietist,
tension is carried by restraint, repetition and atmosphere.
Melancholy has always been central to Long Night, but never as
decoration. The darkness is grounded in melody, structure and an
underlying sense of movement – songs that gradually change
shape and carry the listener to somewhere different from where
they began. With its combination of rhythmic discipline cinematic
scale and open, atmospheric guitar landscapes, Long Night has
developed a sound that is distinctively its own. Heavy in weight,
wide in space, dark by nature…… The End is Nigh!
