He takes time after the show to listen to every fan at the meet and greet without rushing anyone. Outstanding concert as usual when Langhorne Slim is in the room. Sean absolutely knows how to entertain a crowd, and keep them at ease, whether solo or with his band he is warm and relatable. I loved the raw intimacy of the performance and even the rare seating setup at the Troubadour last night. Felt like being with close friends gathered in a living room more than the typical concert. There was even a 1 year old baby and 70/80 year olds in attendence who Langhorne interacted with. I fell in love with Sean all over again watching his natural charm and fun personality win over the entire audience (I promise I didn't intend to make him/you nervous by scoping - so sorry, just know many fans internationally that became huge fans last January when he performed with Sawyer Fredericks that love him as much as I do, but wouldn't be able to see him otherwise, and there are thousands+ across US hoping they will be lucky enough to have him come to their town during his tour that couldn't travel to West Hollywood last night.) Sarah was fantastic as well. Both performers have exquisite voices and insane writing/storytelling skills in addition to incredible musical ability with their instruments. Would highly recommend going to any future shows with either of them. My only complaint is that it ended too soon. Hoping I'll get a chance to see Langhorne again in the near future. I'm so happy I discovered him thanks to Sawyer's awesome taste in music. Sean is a rare gem worth investing in.

This was my favorite solo Slim show to date! Intimate venue, engaging and amusing ramblings and so much of the Langhorne Slim music that I love! Old songs, covers, a whole lot of new songs that only make waiting for the new album more tantalizingly torturous (in the best way of course.)

The Cabinet of Wonders was in fact wondrous!! Slim was the reason I walked through the door and I am so glad I did! He was in brilliant company and shone in his spot with characteristic genuine charm, endearing honesty coming through in his music. Love!

Langhorne Slim and his band, the Law, are incredible live performers. There's few bands where I say even if you didn't know the music you would enjoy the show, and theirs is one of them. Their dedication and passion for music is clear and Langhorne himself is not afraid to get personal with the audience. They also prefer you to pay attention and not be on your phone or be speaking loudly which he was vocal about and I appreciated as a concert attendee that has all too often had an experience slighted by a drunk rowdy crowd and/or people attached to their cell phone using flash photography. I highly recommend the band as well as the venue: This was my first time at Longfellow Square and even though I was expecting seating I was still very impressed by my experience there. The owners/managers seemed to truly care about music and our overall enjoyment and even thanked us for coming as we left. As a fan of small venues this is not unheard of to me but is still appreciated when it does occur. Another small but important detail was having a free place to leave our coats! No charge! A huge hindrance to concerts in winter for me is what to wear as it's freezing outside but usually gets hot due to to the crowd once at the show. This was a convenience that made a big difference to me. Keep doing what you're doing One Longfellow Square, you've gained a new fan.

It's a rare thing for me to pay for a ticket to see an opening set, but Slim is so good that I didn't think twice.I had never experienced his solo performance, but even Lawless he fills the stage. Last night he was in full storyteller mode, which might have cut into the time for songs, but left me laughing! From the moving connection he has with his grandparents now departed to his experience in a Hollywood café bathroom, he spins a tale and then paints in expert musical strokes, the songs that flesh them out. He is a quality human and a qualify showman.

Langhorne Slim is a master . Certainly in contention for best live show on the road today.We were actually at the Saturday night show in Lancaster, Ohio, but friends seeing him for the first time at Midpoint on Friday said he was easily the best of the festival.

Amazing show, loved all the guest he invited on stage!! The service at the venue not so great. Making this a news day tradition.

Langhorne slim is an amazing love performance. So much spirit and energy. His ticket prices are way too cheap for what he is worth in entertainment value, so go see him now before the others find out. His band The Law are also a great addition/accompaniment, adding even more talent and energy to the concert. This is one of those artists where the studio albums just don't do justice to how they are live in concert. All in all, a great show, at a steal of a ticket price. His opening act Johnny Fritz was great too. Glad to have been exposed to him!
