Obscure Sphinx was formed in Warsaw in 2008. Their music is situated somewhere near post-metal, but they enrich it with influence of doom metal, post-rock and progressive metal. They merge sonic spaces and electronic samples with the crushing combo of 8-string guitars and 6-string bass rhythmics. All of this is flavoured by a unique voice of the vocalist. Members: Zofia "Wielebna" Fraś (vocals, samples) Aleksander "Olo" Łukomski (guitars) Michał "blady" Rejman (bass) Obscure Sphinx to projekt założony w 2008 roku. Tworzą muzykę oscylującą między post i doom metalem, nie boją się jednak czerpać inspiracji z innych gatunków jak post-rock czy metal progresywny. W swej twórczości łączą przestrzenne brzmienia i elektroniczne sample z miażdżącą rytmiką 8-strunowej gitary i 6-strunowego basu. Całość zaś dopełniona jest wyjątkowym głosem wokalistki.
