Andrei Irimia

Andrei Irimia is a contemporary pianist and composer whose work resonates at the intersection of neoclassical tradition and modern cinematic texture. Fascinated by how minimalist piano music can generate spaces for introspection, he builds evocative soundscapes designed to reach the deepest corners of the human spirit. His compositions are defined by an intimate dialogue between the piano and a soulful string ensemble, featuring the haunting, visceral textures of the violin and cello.

2026 marks a defining milestone in his journey with the release of his third studio album, "Lights & Shadows". This new work explores the delicate dualities of existence through a rich, cinematic lens, solidifying the interplay between his signature piano melodies and the profound emotional depth of the strings.

Drawing inspiration from the kaleidoscope of human emotions, Andrei views melancholy as a gateway to self-discovery. His creative process is rooted in a lifelong fascination with how the performing arts impact our senses. He believes music is a sincere, authentic expression of the human condition, capturing love and hope longside sorrow and grief with equal grace.
