A propos de The Flower Kings
The Flower Kings
Swedish progressive rock band.
Formed in 1993 by veteran guitarist Roine Stolt as a touring band to support his solo album The Flower King, the band stayed together after the tour and has gone on to become one of the most prolific studio recording units in rock music of their era. In ten years it has released nearly 18 hours of music.
The Flower Kings have seen frequent personnel changes. The original line-up for Stolt's solo album consisted of Stolt (vocals, electric guitar, bass, keyboards), Jamie Salazar (drums), and Hasse Fröberg (vocals). When the full band was formed, they added Michael Stolt (bass) and Tomas Bodin (keyboards). Michael Stolt and Salazar have both left the band since its formation, replaced by Jonas Reingold (bass) and Zoltan Csörsz (drums). Other contributors have included Hasse Bruniusson (percussion), Ulf Wallander (saxophone) and Daniel Gildenlöw of Pain of Salvation (vocals, guitar, keyboards and percussion). The current band are: Roine Stolt - Hasse Fröberg - Michael Stolt - Zach Kamins - Mirko Demaio - with guests Hasse Bruniusson, Rob Townsend etc.
The music is perhaps best described as symphonic, bearing a strong resemblance in many instances to that of Yes, no wonder Stolt worked with YES frontman Jon Anderson on the successful duo's album 'INVENTION OF KNOWLENDGE' (SONY ) 2016 - The FLOWER KINGS lyrics are almost uniformly positive, affirming such values as love, peace, and spirituality. The band has released 14 albums and many DVD's and live albums - Now on SONY music worldwide. - NEW double album out February 4th 2022 - NEWS & SHOP at : www.roinestolt.com

Formule assise et c'était bien agréable car cela donnait l'impression d'un concert plus intime

Very good performance from the entire group , particularly Mr. Froberg on vocal and evidently Mr. Stolt on guitar . Good setlist and excellent sound for the assistance . 8/10 .

Great show with a band I’ve been longing to see!
Unfortunately the sound was way to loud, thus killing all nuances. The sound technician seemed to have trouble with Roine’s singing. Sometimes the voice was suppressed and lacking of treble. Sometimes it caused acoustic feedback.
Without the shortcomings mentioned above, it had been a five star show.
