Excellent concert. The band sounded as good, if not better, than they did in the 80's. Venue and event organisation were outstanding.

It was an extremely well-organized event. It has such a great setup and facilities.

These guys produce such passion and loyalty from the audience. One vast joyous sing along Went with my daughters 18 and 19. They could not beleive the love in the room.

The show started with A acoustic set with the ban sitting down playing songs like chocolate girl queen of the new year the second set was a greatest hits set highlights being loaded dignity twist and shout and Fergus sings the blues

The venue Utilita was great and Deacon Blue gave a brilliant performance, I shall certainly see them again, excellent 😊

What a blast from the past! How good were Deacon Blue and the guys from Beautiful South? Very is the answer. They sounded great, the singing and the musicianship were excellent and the sound system sounded really clear. Highlights for me were experiencing Deacon Blue perform the hits Real Gone Kid, Ship called Dignity and Fergus sings the Blues and I was blown away by the Beautiful South guys performing all their hits, I'd forgotten how many there were, A Little Time was awesome as was Caravan of Love, Perfect 10, Don't Marry Her etc. Best gig I have been to for years and years.Both bands were full of charisma and craic. LOVED IT. Thank you Deacon Blue and Beautiful South. We missed the first performer unfortunately, was it Declan O Rourke, as we had no idea he was playing sadly, it wasn't on the ticket info that I could see. I enjoyed the venue too, we were all lucky it stayed sunny and dry and there was little wind, perhaps its a naturally sheltered spot. Little wind also meant there was no sound distortion either.

Bands where GOOD venue shambolic After booking my Deacon Blue tickets for the olympia 2 years ago I was delighted to be getting to see them but not in St Annes Park. Turns out I was right the queues for the bar was absolutely disgraceful. Didn't accomadate the amount of people at the concert. The queue was that long I thought I was in Dublin Airport!!!!!!! The wait was 45 mins to 60mins for a drink Also I booked tickets for Deacon Blue and they only played 1hr 15mins if I had gone to the original concert which I purchased tickets for it would have been at least 2 hrs and not an hours wait at the bar. As an avid concert goer who has as we've all been off the scene for 2 years i left feeling the organisers couldn't care less about the punters just got as many people in as possible and didn't care that they didn't provide ample bars or services for us. Who thought that 2 bars was enough to serve thousands of people. To go to a concert that took 2 years to come and then wasting an hour away from all your friends to get a drink. I left with a very bad taste in my mouth and unfortunately it wasn't Heineken

Decon Blue were just amazing can't wait to see them again, great presence and energy on stage, brought back so many good memories really enjoyed the whole night, House Martins fab too

Deacon Blue were incredible on Saturday. From start to finish this was not to be missed. Great live Sound and a great setting in the Murcury Theater.

Great performance, hope they come back soon (& not wait another 30 years!) Only thing that tainted the night was a group stood close talking loudly most of the time.

So awesome got to meet the band and photo as I was going for an uber brought back so many good childhood memories xxx

Another Brilliant gig from the Band that just keeps giving, 2 hours of sheer enjoyment with a charismatic frontman and a band that have honed their skills & then the voice of an angel that is Lorraine McIntosh. If you ever get the chance to see them make sure you go, you won't regret it.

Just superb. Ricky Ross had the crowd in the palm of his hand. Buzzing with energy, the band played a set of 19 songs, played with the style and vibrancy everyone expects from a group of such talented musicians.
