A propos de Yellowjackets
Yellowjackets
The Yellowjackets are an American jazz fusion quartet.
The current lineup consists of Marcus Baylor (drums, percussion), Russell Ferrante (piano, keyboards, synthesizers), Jimmy Haslip (electric basses), and Bob Mintzer (saxophones, bass clarinet, EWI).
Mintzer joined the group in 1991. Baylor joined the group in 2000. The original group, called The Robben Ford Group, consisted of Robben Ford (guitar), Ricky Lawson (drums), Russell Ferrante, and Jimmy Haslip. Ford had originally assembled the group to record Inside Story, but left in 1978, seeking a more vocal and commercial sound. Ricky Lawson left in 1986 to tour with Lionel Richie.
Other members have included Mark Russo (1985-1989; saxophones), William Kennedy (1987-1999; drums), Peter Erskine (1999; drums), and Terri Lynn Carrington (2000, drums).

Excellent Performance, Disappointing Venue Experience.
Yellowjackets delivered an excellent performance—truly outstanding musicianship and a great concert.
Unfortunately, the venue experience was disappointing. Most of the seats were reserved, leaving only a few available seats along the sides with poor views of the stage. The biggest drawback is that the venue does not offer assigned seating when purchasing tickets. Unless you're a member, you have to take your chances finding a decent seat after checking in at the door. To make matters worse, some rows don't have dining tables in front of the seats. If you pre-purchase dinner before the show, your seating options become even more limited, as you need to find seats with tables.
For me, these seating arrangements are a significant disadvantage that detracts from the overall concert experience. As much as I enjoyed Yellowjackets, I won't be returning to this venue.

Excellent. Great staff, great venue, great seat, reasonable priced drink. Excellent sound and view of stage. Facilitated my special request for seat.
