This band NEVER disappoints. I go every time they're in town if I can. It is always such an uplifting experience. All 3 of the guys are top of their game on their instruments. Faces are always melted off, and chests pounded in. As is said by so many, these guys are so underrated it's unbelievable. If you love awesome powerful rock and roll, performed from the heart, and you haven't seen them yet, GO! Just do it. You'll never regret it, and you'll be hooked for life.

This is my favorite band at one of my favorite venues. Both were amazing as usual. But it has been a LONG time since I was at a show and felt the sound was too loud. It was ridiculously loud. I have never worn ear plugs to a show but I was sorry I didnt have any. And at times I would swear the sound man went to the bathroom or something. What was 90% a great mix, there were times when the vocals almost disappeared. And if Jerry was doing anything subtle, the gate wouldn't allow us to hear it. Also, bandsintown.com, you asked me to leave a review but your pop-ups keep blocking me from seeing what I am typing.

Front row, center for the show - just awesome. I think I had a perma-grin all night. The guys have such a simple approach: walk out, take the instruments, melt faces... The music and the musicianship speak for itself and the fans are 100% there for it. Great job guys! (Side note: hats off to Mount Dora Music Hall and Red Comet Productions - great venue and very well managed event!)

Great small / intimate venue . . . not a bad seat in the house! I saw King's X 30 years ago at the Metro in Chicago (to this day, still the best concert I ever saw) and they may have actually gotten better! I never truly realized how great these 3 guys are as musicians . . . from drums to base to guitar they are truly skilled and possibly the best I've ever seen, I was just blown away. They are welcome to stop by my place in Mundelein, IL for breakfast (bacon:) anytime they want:)

5-Stars all the way 'round... I bought my tickets in August and waited in excited anticipation for months to see the guys. Relatively small venue (500-seats) which made for a simple and straight-forward show. Side note: Eventbrite, the ticket seller, didn't quite get the seating on their sales map right, but, that made little difference to me. My front row seat was just fine. Anyway, the opening acts got the crowd amped up and then the big dogs took the stage and, as anticipated, melted faces... mine included. It's been a long time since I've had the pleasure of seeing King's X and they did NOT disappoint. What an amazing evening with a true national treasure of American music. If you're reading this and you haven't seen this band, get tickets right now.

Doug & Jerry take the time to visit with fans who want to stick around after the show. Another great 'hometown' show (Jerry Gaskill is a NJ Native and legend imo....). The band was on point from the first note. There was some audio drop outs here and there which I thought at first might have been just me but I did confirm this with other fans who were located in completely different areas for the show. Lovely venue from an aesthetic point of view and organized well. Great crowd of my fellow X-heads enjoying the boys doing the new material but also breaking out some old unexpected classics as well. For three guys they can blow the room up with sound but in the next minute bring it down to single notes. Awesome. A short comment on handling emptying the venue though. Read the room. This was not a rabble of drunken frat kids or anything of the like. The "ushers" such as it were acted more like bouncers on a power trip. I understand you have to get people out but this was not some rowdy herd of unruly cattle to be stampeded. Especially if the merch table is still open in that front area (I have no problem about emptying the stage areas etc). The rush to push everyone out was not handled well. As corny as it sounds, learn a lesson from Roadhouse "Be nice" (the original movie, not the laughable remake). They even harassed some people I know that are connected to the band, a bunch of ladies no less, as if giving them 5 minutes (while the merch table etc was still popping) would have been the end of the world. I was not the only one who got this impression and it really put a damper on what otherwise was a spectacular night. Be better Vogel..

After 35 years, I finally got to see my favorite band "KingsX" !! What a great night with my wife and youngest son! And yes they both loved the show and are now fans always requesting KingsX be played !! Hopefully next time I won't have to drive over two hours to see them!?? Remember; GO TELL SOMEBODY!!

King’s X was amazing as expected! Seemed like the sound mix was a struggle - took a little while to adjust to the fact that the background vocals are integral to their music. I also didn’t understand why they wouldn’t light Ty (the guitar player.) When Doug (the bass player) asked to have his light turned down in order to not literally outshine Ty, seemed like they just left both him and Ty in the dark the rest of the time and only lit the drummer. Seemed spiteful, but maybe there were just technical issues.

What a great show! I've seen King's X 17 or 18 times since 1990 and they never disappoint! This show was notable for them playing three songs from Gretchen Goes to Nebraska: Summerland, Pleiades and Mission. Everyone should go see King's X before they finally put their instruments down for good because they are one of the best rock bands in the history of music. It will be worth your time and money!

Sold out show! After 15 years King’s X returned to Toronto to a house packed with fans! From the latest release to Dogman to OOTSP the band pulled out the stops. The crowd did t disappoint with sing along from Pillow (THUNDERING!) to fan favourite Goldilox. (damn that song should have been a single back in ‘86!)

King's X is the best bands ever, put on an awesome show on March 8th. Doug can play the bass like NO ONE else, and his voice is just a powerhouse! Ty can shred the guitar and did an amazing job on Friday. Jerry is hands down, transcendent on the drums. I love watching him pound the drums. When the 3 of them harmonize and sing together, I cannot tell you what that sound does to me. Literally no words. This band is so underrated, it's honestly one of the biggest musical injustices in the world. XL Live is a great venue to see a show. The sound was great, there is plenty of room for a packed crowd, lots of spots to sit if you prefer to not stand and they have multiple places to get drinks. They also have food you can order and the bathrooms are nice and clean. This is one of the nicest places I have been to see smaller concerts (non-arena size). There is also a huge parking lot right next door and a couple restaurants nearby if you don't want to have traditional bar food. Definitely looking forward to going back in the future.

My son's 1st King's X show was awesome. The opening band was great with some awesome drumming and guitar solos. King's X mixed it up with crowd favorites, deep cuts, and new stuff. Encore was amazing with the whole crowd singing Goldilox as ritual persists. So glad he got to experience the wonder I have been lucky enough to see live many times over the years. 3 brothers so in sync on stage. We were born to be loved.

King's X never fail to impress. They are just as great today as they ever have been. I know every fan of them says this, but they should be HUGE. They haven't toured anywhere close to me for quite a while, so I had to give in and travel 3 1/2 hours to see them because I don't know how many more chances I'll get to see these Kings.

As always, King's X ROCKS!!! From the opening three songs - Groove Machine, World Around Me and Pillow - it was in your face jam! Packing 17 songs into 90 minutes was impressive. Dug didn't talk as much as usual so that may have influenced the length of the show. They were all business and business was good! The five songs off the new album sounded great and King was a nice surprise. Notably absent was Over My Head. I've seen them about 15+ times and it's the first time I haven't seen them play that. But I'm not complaining because they were awesome as always! I hope they come back around soon!

I felt bad for the guys to be playing such a small venue in an out of the way farm town. I guess KINGS X' S music never hit Colorado like they should have. There was maybe 150 people there, if that? For a die hard fan like me , it was great being able to see them up close. But I felt embarrassed that my home state doesn't appreciate such a talented and incredible band like KINGS X. As far as the show and the music? Grade A! 10 out of 10 stars! And the small group of us who did attend were treated to some of the best Rock/Metal/Blues music that is out touring and playing live right now. To the Guys in the band.... You guys are f*****g incredible! You should be playing multiple sold out shows at Red Rocks, not some dump in Brighton OAf all places. Thank you for the hard work you have put in over the past 40 plus years, and the incredible, unequalled, stellar music you guys create. Break some legs on the rest of the tour!! Keep Rockin' as you are among the best of the best playing music today. Cheers!!

King's X blew the roof off Wally's! This show took me straight to the "Groove Machine" and left me with "Music Over My Head"! The sound was clear and balanced through the sound system. The band was personable with the audience. They looked like they were having a fun time on stage. It was an AWESOME show! Standing squished up to the stage in front of Dug Pinnick, a drunk-a*s woman next to me kept yipping a high-pitched scream. Being the gentleman that he is, Dug Pinnick bent over and politely asked her to stop screaming because he couldn't hear himself sing. She screamed directly into his face and laughed. It bummed him out. Not cool, chick, not cool. Dug Pinnick, Ty Tabor, and Jerry Gaskill are some of the nicest, most considerate people, who play in a renowned rock band, that I have ever met. King's X do not charge extra for meet and greets like so many other bands (they could, but they don't). They appreciate their fans, and their devoted fans will always remain true. Wally's Pub (a small venue, 300 capacity) is the perfect place to get up close to see incredible bands, like King's X, rock the stage. The food is good, bartenders are lightening fast in whipping out cocktails, and Wally's staff is super cool. A highly recommended place to check out.

As always, Doug, Ty & Jerry were absolutely sublime! I have been going to their shows consistently for the past 30 years and I am proud to say they claim H-town as home. They are absolutely part of the soundtrack of my life. Can’t wait to see them again!!

King's X was outstanding! Doug Pinnick's growling bass tone, attack, and vocals were as good as it gets. Jerry Gaskill is a beast on the drums and keeps perfect time with Pinnick. Ty Tabor provides a the texture that pulls it all together. These guys are beyond tight! The venue, Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, NH, is top notch. Great acoustics, layout, bar, food, and staff. Highly recommend both.
