Carl Palmer

Excellent show. The band was in top form—Paul Bielatowicz (MIDI guitar) and Simon Fitzpatrick (Chapman Stick) covering Emerson’s parts was a bold choice that ended up being more exciting than a straight keyboard recreation. Palmer played with incredible power, speed, precision, and swing. Balanced setlist mix of ‘hits’, shorter cuts, and epics like “Tarkus” and “Knife-Edge.” The lighting, Palmer’s massive kit front and center, and big screens gave it an arena feel. Even the synced archival footage of Emerson and Lake worked surprisingly well. Overall, a creative and tasteful take on classic prog done right.

Great show I really miss those guys Venue was great as well and the sound was amazing

They show was nearly 2 hours, the venue was excellent and the show was better! I last saw Carl in 1976 and to see him at 75 yrs young banging on those drums was incredible. The 2 talented musicians he had playing with him were a nice compliment. The videos of Emerson and Lake were a nice touch and the video of Keith doing Fanfare was iconic! We attend a lot of shows and so far this one is #1 this year.

Great show as usual from all musicians Carl Palmer is an amazing drummer. The integration of the video from ELP and Paul and Simon is fantastic .

An absolutely fantastic show. I saw them at Carteret performing arts center and two days later at the Levoy Theater.

Outstanding show and performance. Saw it at the Parker on Feb 20 Certainly true to the motto "Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends..."

Excellent and memorable set. Enjoyed the merging with other Royal tour bands too.

Amazing Carl Palmer bring his band to perform some of the mayor ELP tracks in different ways and solo performances that is famous too. ELP LIVES! He needs to headline once in a while, because his set list get cut badly.

Phenomenal concert , a true legacy to ELP . Thank you Carl Palmer for keeping ELP alive and remain one the best drummers in history of rock music . The best part you closed with Fanfare for The Common Man ! I wish I had tickets to come back the next day .

Great performance. He need it's own tour or a more large setlist, it works great as a grand show Royal Affair. ELP lives!

One of the best drummer's ever.

Fanfare for an Extraordinary Band! Carl Palmer and Mates rocked Bold Point Park between the raindrops cutting through like a Knife-Edge for rock in’ Hoedown
