Flew to Berlin from Croatia just to see them and it was the BEST night of my life! The Damned are indescribable legends with so much energy and devotion to their work even after 50 years of their existence and also such beautiful, humble and sweet human beings. Had a chance to chat with Dave a bit and he is so so sweet, a beautiful lovely man❤️ I hope to see them again some time if they hopefully add more Europe shows (also The Damned please add Croatia, we need you here❤️) I have no words for this band except amazing legends and the best band in the world!❤️ Sending much love from Croatia❤️🇭🇷 L.M.

The Damned are damn good punk rock n roll! They put on a high energy show, sound amazing are friendly and rocked for almost 3 straight hours! So awesome! Our first time at the Observatory and we loved it. Casual small town feel, no hyper priced over sold L.A. shit. Great antique venue and not a bad spot in the house.

I've seen The Damned live several times, but this was by far their best performance. Having the infighting behind them, they were clearly enjoying themselves. I appreciate that they played some of their new songs as well as some deep cuts you wouldn't have expected to hear.

Band was is full force and gave it their all. Five star performance and set. Venue audio in my opinion is still a growth opportunity. Boomy and murky, speakers felt pushed too hard and harsh sounding mids and upper frequencies while lacking in bass. I’ll be back for something more acoustic to give the venue another shot and see how much is related to the challenge of the space.

One word - Awesome !!!! I’ve seen some pretty fantastic bands in my time, but I have to say how The Damned comes out right at the top, they completely lived up to all my expectations, they certainly know how to play to the crowd, my only disappointment was that standing only 5’1”, I couldn’t see above the 6 footers in front of me to get no more than the odd glimpse of my favourite fab 4, but from what I could see, they rocked around that stage with as much energy and vigour as the fantastic sound they made !!!! I’ll be making the 2 hour drive to Leeds tonight on my lonesome, (never been to a gig alone before) so all of you 6 footers there, if you see this little person trying to make her way through your legs, please allow me to push to the front 🙏🙏🙏 😊

Band were great really tight. Played most of the songs I wanted to hear from their nearly 50 year career. With a classic line up. Good banter with the audience and plenty of energy. They didn’t look their age. Dr and the Medics were less good but warmed the audience up well with spirit in the sky. Shame we missed the Fleshtones but we didn’t know Dr&the M were 3 bands on.

always a brilliant gig, easily one of the best live bands around with a huge repertoire, ive seen them 8 times, every gig is different. This is my all time favorite Damned lineup, and im very happy to see them with Scabies and Gray. outstanding rythm section. Sensible and Vanian have brilliant and relaxt stage rapport, always comical and fresh. they all clearly are having fun, and that makes every gig special.

Good venue. The support acts were also good. I cannot say enough about my favorite band. With Scabies on drums they were as good as the always are,with a great set list.A mix of old and new.The musical ability of the band is always overlook and I don't know why.They played well and Dave's vocals still good. Personally I think his vocal should have been turned up a bit. The only downside was a 10.30 curfew so all seemed a rushed . Well worth the money every time.

These guys were a long time on my list if gotta see’s! What a terrific band. A tight, wonderfully engaging show. “New Rose” gave me a jolt, as it always does, but so did all the other tunes they played. These guys are terrific performers! The evening was neat, neat, neat!

Better than I expected. They played most of my favorites. I had forgotten they have some of the most iconic bass guitar intros ever. Would love to have heard “Under The Floor Again”, one of my all time favorite guitar solos on that one. 2 encores! If you’re a fan don’t miss this tour.

What a fantastic evening at The Fonda Theatre on Friday, June 7, 2024, to see The Damned! Absolutely no disappointments about the performance because they were all on top of their game and everyone that attended seemed to agree! I wish they had a residency here in the US for awhile so they wouldn’t have to endure grueling travel. I try to see them every year because they are still so good and so much fun! CJ

The Damned were absolutely amazing! They were on my list for sure. We saw them at Fiddler's Green but I think a smaller venue like the Gothic was the right decision. It was our first time at the Gothic and it's a great venue. The sight lines were awesome and it was easy to get drinks. I'd recommend this place to see showt

Honestly at first I wasn't sure if this was the best venue for this type of show. I don't know if it was the crowd or the venue or both but, it was AWESOME! The Damned was on fire as always. I managed to get a great spot near the front and didn't get crushed! That's a first. Probably the best show I've ever been to♥️

We flew with my wife from DC just for this concert. They are that good. They are the most solid band around. Tight as no other act. I appreciate that they play the new album and their classics. Always close to their audience. Vanian was spotless, Captain was brilliant. Monty is a great stage presence. Mr Gray was fantastic and the feel with Will Taylor, the drummer was evident in Motorcycle Man. Still my favorite band. Mr Vanian, if you read this, not that it matters, but I never winked! Rock on!!

The show was awesome. The Damned played the perfect mix of old and new. The venue was great aside from a couple of minor nitpicking issues…. The sound could have been a little better as there were a couple of issues. Also, the charge for balcony seats was totally unnecessary.

The Damned concert was a pleasure as always. As a 20 year old fan, I don’t feel any different from the rest of the crowd, I feel welcome at the concert which is a huge plus! The music sounded amazing, and I really enjoyed the new material for the new Darkadelic album! A really throroughly enjoyable concert and once again memories to last a life time. Long love the Damned - my all time favourite band. True musical geniuses 🖤

Sound was awful, guitars too high, vocals too low, could hardly hear Dave sing, ok when the captain joined in but otherwise not a great night. To be honest a strange venue for a punk band when there are so many other more suitable places they could have booked given the audience numbers

The damned were great! I saw the casualties in the crowd. It was weird seeing a punk band in a place that had seats. The food was overpriced and the seats seemed to restrict movement so it was pretty tame. It’s best to see them at a festival or a bar venue.

Dave Vanian is completely underrated as one of the greatest frontmen and vocalists in Rock and Roll. The Damned plowed through over 20 songs; most from their early Punk albums with a splash of 80s pop and soundtrack hits and some of their well known satirical covers. Captain Sensible with a broken rib from a stage fall a few weeks ago; one upped Axl and Grohl by playing seated on a crusty toilet throne with the tank converted to a beer cooler. At 64, he still played with rigor and abandon, occasionally riffing ten seconds of everything from Pearl Jam to Billy Joel during intros. He had one false start, replaying New Rose when they were playing neat neat neat. No clue how he's doing back to back shows without rest. Oxymoron was the court jester - hippy hype man - cheering the crowd to sing along and dance. These guys have been together almost twenty years, 40 for Vanian and Sensible, and tonight wasn't even close to a punk rock show; or a greatest hits review. It was five individuals putting together a solid musical performance of Rock and Roll and radio standards. Two three song encores - and they could have gone all night. Gosh have they evolved.

What can I say? Alice Bag opened! Such a great surprise! Talk about the early LA scene...Castration Squad? The Bags? Classic LA punk. Turns out she was at that first Damned show 40 years ago and within a few weeks of seeing them she formed a band of her own. It was only fitting she open for the band that inspired her 4 decades ago. The Damned performed an especially energetic set. They exhibited a lot more punch than the last time I saw them; of course this time they had a bigger stage to run around on. Captain Sensibles antics never disappoint and Dave Vanian still dresses nattily and croons as smoothly as always. Set list was a neat mix of early and mid-discography songs. There were 2 encores and by the time they left stage for good I think everybody was satisfied. I certainly was.
