Graduated from Berklee College of Music with a major in Piano and Jazz Composition.

A leading figure in the beat music scene, Kan Sano is also known for his unique style that fuses jazz and classical elements, delivering captivating solo piano improvisations. In his band-set performances, he plays trumpet, bass, and drums, igniting the audience with his dynamic stage presence.

His released tracks have achieved remarkable streaming numbers: "On My Way Home" surpassing 18 million streams, while "DT pt.2" and "Sit At The Piano" have each exceeded 10 million plays. As he continues to solidify his presence as a Japanese musician, he became the first Japanese artist to release music under the prestigious UK label Decca Records. Additionally, Tom Misch has publicly declared himself a fan of Kan Sano and personally invited him to be the opening act for his Japan and Korea tour, further expanding his reach both domestically and internationally.

As a producer, keyboardist, and remixer, Kan Sano has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including UA, Chara, Tavito Nanao, Kaho Nakamura, Ayaka, and m-flo, contributing to their live performances and recordings. His work extends beyond the music industry into commercial soundtracks and film scoring, including providing the ending theme for the movie The Solitary Gourmet (Kodoku no Gourmet.)
