in his hands and soul in his voice. That run introduced him to millions and set the stage for a
career rooted in both ar2stry and longevity.
Following American Idol, Casey signed with Sony Music Nashville, releasing his self-2tled debut
album to cri2cal acclaim. The record featured hits like “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night” and “Crying
on a Suitcase”, both of which charted high on Billboard, solidifying him as more than a TV
finalist—but rather a legi2mate force in the music industry.
Casey’s live resumé is just as impressive. He has toured and shared stages with some of the
biggest names in music, including Taylor SwiC, Delbert McClinton, Ed Sheeran, Kenny Wayne
Shepherd, LiXle Big Town, Buddy Guy, SugarLand and many more. These aren’t just opening

crea2vely restric2ve. ACer par2ng ways with Sony, he refocused on the music that most truly
reflected his roots. In 2017 he released Strip It Down, an album that marked a return to his
blues and roots influences and received cri2cal acclaim for its raw, honest sound. Teaming up
with mul2ple Grammy winning producer/writer/drummer Tom Hambridge, the record
showcases James’ expressive vocals and guitar prowess and features collabora2ons that
underscore his deep connec2on to blues and Americana tradi2ons. James followed this with If
You Don’t Know by Now (2020), further exploring the emo2onal depth and musical range that
have become his hallmarks. As an independent ar2st based in Nashville, he con2nues to write,
record and tour, bringing his heardelt songwri2ng and griXy, soulful performances to audiences
around the world.
Between the years of 2020 and 2024, in an effort to weather the challenges of the COVID-19
pandemic, Casey joined forces with two fellow ar2sts to form the powerhouse trio Texas Hill.
The project became Casey’s primary focus for the next four years, during which Texas Hill toured
extensively and released four albums along with two live performance videos. Ul2mately, Casey
chose to conclude the chapter in order to return to his individual ar2stry and reconnect with his
respec2ve fanbase.
With a renewed sense of purpose and freedom to pursue his own ar2stry, Casey James is
stepping into uncharted territory with the release of his first-ever acous2c album, "Me & My
Guitar," set to be released April 24Th 2026. This project, born out of the long-2me requests of
his fans, is his heardelt response. It represents a significant milestone in his career, showcasing
his soulful vocals accompanied by just his guitar, he strips down the produc2on and invites fans
to connect with the essence of his music in its purest form. “Me & My Guitar” promises a raw
and genuine musical experience in which the audience will gain a sense of authen2city that is
oCen overshadowed in heavily produced tracks.
“This record is a new approach for me. To just write a song and remove all the produc2on isn't
as easy as I thought it would be,” James says. “It was very hard to not add elements to these
songs that I felt would add to the listening experience. But the simple and honest approach felt
real and in2mate to me. I didn't use any tricks of the trade. No vocal tuning or edi2ng of any
kind. Just me singing and playing my guitar behind a nice microphone. I want the listener to feel
like I’m in the room. There are 2ny liXle moments throughout the recording that lend to this
feeling. A chair squeaking, my fingers scratching the strings, several missed notes on the guitar,
as well as vocally. But it all lends itself to an actual moment in 2me. Not something polished to a
point that the humanity is buffed out.”
