Youth in a Roman Field is a surrealist folk band (‘Appalachia, cayenne pepper, and ghosts’ and 'like Radiohead but also folk music') fronted by Claire Wellin and bolstered by collaborators Scott Stangland, Tiffany Topol, Jamie Mohamdein, and Cassidy Stirtz. Their original, progressive sound is reflected both in their inventive recordings and intimate, endearing live performances.
