After achieving notable status in their homeland, Australian rock outfit, 'Bellusira' chose to relocate to Los Angeles and continue the push to reach their music to a wider international audience. The band was recognized as critic’s favorites placing in top album releases for 2013 for their debut album "Connection" in 8 major media publications including Australia's top rock radio station on Triple M distortion, Heavy Music Mag, The Au Review, The Hard Rock show, Sludge Factory Media, Beat Magazine and Heavy Music Magazine, to name a few. Bellusira received rave reviews from all of the above mentioned outlets along with praise from powerful players in the music business including Triple M's Higgo, radio presenter Ugly Phil and Beat magazine. Bellusira consequently scored some killer supports to go with their release sharing the stage with Flyleaf and Cult classics The Misfits. The release of the band's music video ‘Cachango’ brought its own excitement and caught the attention of Will Hunt (Evanescence) who, helped to bring Bellusira to the U.S in February of 2014. Since landing in the United States, the band was straight to work on their second album ‘The Healing’ which has been recorded and produced by both Dan Whittemore (Paramore, Macklemore, NE-YO) and Ulrich Wild (White Zombie, Pantera, Deftones), mixed by Dan Whittemore. It is another step up with the band pushing their song writing skills to the limits and getting every ounce of emotion out and onto this record. Bellusira's country transfer has seen them taking part in some heavy touring nationally with performances at SXSW in Austin, Texas, a tour run with Straight Line Stitch, festival slots at Fort Rock Festival, Florida Music Festival, South East Idaho Rock & Metal Fest & Rockin’ the Valley on bills with names such as Korn, Seether, Buck Cherry, Hed PE, Saving Abel, Puddle Of Mudd, and Ten years to name a few. Bellusira was very grateful to have been awarded Reverbnation's "Most Popular Band" voted by the public among thousands of other acts.Not forgetting their Aussie roots, Bellusira has also since returned to Australia with direct support slots in 2015 with Seether & HellYeah and have a national album release tour coming up in December direct support to Grammy award winners Halestorm.
