Emily Ulman

Emily Ulman is an artist, storyteller, and industry powerhouse. For over two
decades, she’s been a defining voice in Australian music, both on stage and
behind the scenes. Known for her raw, evocative songwriting and ability to
craft melodies that embed, Emily’s music blurs the lines between indie rock,
folk, and pop, always landing with emotional weight.

After spending the last twenty years championing other artists, booking
festivals, curating lineups, and shaping the live music scene, Emily is
stepping back into the spotlight with her first music in a decade. Set for
release in 2025, this long-awaited record marks her return as a songwriter,
ready to tell her own stories again.

A fierce advocate for live music, Emily has helped shape the careers of
countless artists, but now it’s her turn. With a catalogue built on honesty,
sharp lyricism, and magnetic performances, her return is a reminder of why
she’s been such a respected name in the industry all along. And if you
thought she was only good at programming music festivals, wait till you hear
the album.
