BIOGRAPHY : MALKAVIAN propose un Metal alliant l’énergie du Thrash à la technique et la lourdeur du Death. Un EP 7 titres (November Ends – 2009) et surtout leur premier album (The Worshipping Mass – 2014) ont permis au groupe de jouer à travers la France avec des groupes tels que SUICIDE SILENCE, LOUDBLAST, DAGOBA, KLONE, CRUSHER, NO RETURN, SVART CROWN… ou bien de participer à de grands festivals tels que le MOTOCULTOR 2011, et sous une tente pleine à craquer au Metalcorner du HELLFEST 2015. Pour leur premier album, les critiques et l’avis du public sont unanimes. Fort de « l’effet Worshipping Mass », le groupe se voit ouvrir la porte d’une distribution nationale via Season of Mist, et se produira en live à la TV dans la célèbre émission Une Dose 2 Metal, marquant les mémoires par leur passage pour 2 titres. Après une année de travail acharné, le groupe rentre au Vamacara Studio à Clisson afin d’enregistrer son second album, “Annihilating the Shades” (2017). Avec cet album, Malkavian a su pousser son style à un autre niveau. Sombre, agressif, à la brutalitée maîtrisée à merveille, le nouvel opus du quintet est prêt à tout annihiler sur son passage. Le groupe entame d’ailleurs pour le deuxième semestre 2017 le “ANNIHILATION TOUR”, aux cotés de, entres autres, DEATH ANGEL, ANGELUS APATRIDA, DEFICIENCY et HEART ATTACK.
