A propos de MADLIFE!

MADLIFE, the new definition of Active Rock, is advancing through 2013 with three major announcements. Their newest extolled single, “To Live and Die In Hollywood” debuted at #8 new adds on Mediabase Active Rock Radio, quickly gaining momentum the second week climbing to #6. Secondly, they announced their endorsement deal with Schecter Guitars. Lastly, while gearing up for international touring, the highly anticipated 4th album, “21st Century Meglomaniac” is the next chapter in MADLIFE’s chronicles. Its unmistakable headway of innovative musical tonality irrefutably blends with the angry lyrical sonnets. Developed in early 2000, the industrial hard rock band from Los Angeles was contrived between Guitarist Isaiah Stuart and Lead Singer Angry Phill. They found common ground in their like and respect for multiple styles of music, largely in hard rock, industrial, electronic and classic pop. During this time, “The expression of emotion,” says Phill, “And the range of musical depth allowed MADLIFE the luxury to explore the human condition.” Phill and Isaiah formed the first version of MADLIFE with the bassist and drummer from Isaiah’s previous band, Merge. From there they launched their first EP self titled “MADLIFE,” produced by Andrew “Stoker” Growcott. They played Los Angeles resulting in their betterment and adoration in the local rock culture. Soon after, their 2nd EP, also produced by Stoker, titled “Music As Harsh As the World We Live In” was released. MADLIFE embarked on their first national tour in 2005, promoting “Music As Harsh As the World We Live In.” They also activated a successful radio campaign, airing in thirty commercial and one hundred fifty college radio stations in the U.S. In 2006, MADLIFE was reconstructed. With their new bassist and drummer, Angry Phill and Isaiah recorded multiple tracks for film and television. They wrote and recorded for Sony International’s “Hex,” “Rescue Me,” trailers and bumpers, NBC’s “Blue Skies” pilot, Discovery Channel’s “Suits to Boots,” the “Vampires Suck” Soundtrack and MTV. Proving to be multi-faceted and versatile, their successful year provided a platform to shoot their debut music video, “I Want War.” Subsequent to the music video, MADLIFE launched their second national tour spanning over twenty U.S. states. The following year, they garnered endorsements from Ernie Ball and In Tune Guitar Picks. Their third national tour spanned over Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona and preceded their third album, “Angry Sonnets for the Soul.” Produced by Evan 9 (Cage 9 and Powerman 5K), Phil describes the EP as “An understanding of the twisted sea of emotion that is my life.” While culminating the success of their third album, their unmistakably exceptional notoriety amongst fans connected the band to Jagermeister, resulting in Jagermeister adding the band to their endorsement roster. It was during this time, Texas native Kyle Cunningham established himself as MADLIFE’s official drummer. They played the 2009 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival while “Angry Sonnets for the Soul” was re-released through Universal/Fontana/RBE. The album featured their radio single,“Be Tomorrow.” By the time “Be Tomorrow” hit, MADLIFE had toured well over 75% of the United States. Nixxi Sixx (Motley Crue) named “Be Tomorrow” “Pick of the Week” on his national syndicated radio show, “Sixx Sense.” MADLIFE’s evolution in 2012 has solidified their significance in the rock world. As the last one to join, drummer Kyle Cunningham may be the member of MADLIFE with the least surprise of the band’s hastening of their music advancement, an arduous feat for most independent bands. “I've always looked at our band like a tiny snowball that's rolling down a giant hill, constantly getting bigger,” Kyle says, “Hitting rocks, trees, and anything else that gets in our way, but we push through every time, making us stronger. And then crushing everything in sight” On late 2012 straight from Puerto Rico Bassist Carlos Pagan joined the band,we borrowed him from his other project DRONIKA to fill in,but for his outstanding work and dedication we made him an official member of the band with strong energy, personality and passion Carlos has been a great addition to the band The band has current endorsements from Ernie Ball, In Tune Guitar Picks, Schecter Guitars, Fryette Amps, Line 6, and Meinl Cymbals. MADLIFE has since shared the stage with Korn, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Fiver Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Prong, Trivium, Killswich Engage, Bullet for My Valentine, Adema and All the Remains. #### www.madlifemusic.com www.facebook.com/madlifemusic madlifemanagement@gmail.com madlifepr@gmail.com madlifesocial@gmail.com Madlife is the definition of industrial/hard rock music from Los Angeles, California, and if you're not listening; you should be.
