Mike Cooley was outstanding, demonstrating skillful guitar play throughout. He was engaging without pandering to his audience. He left out a couple of my favorites, but that’s unavoidable considering the magnitude of his body of work.

We had an amazing time. The band is so tight it was so packed nobody could get an Uber out of there. The guitar player ended up catching a ride with us. A night none of us will ever forget. Six stars

Been to many DBT shows, starting in the mid 2000's. Definitely not as good as back then, but didn't disappoint. John Neff was a guest and played a couple songs on the pedal steel. Would like to see him back on lead guitar, sorry not a fan of Jay. Every rock'n Cooley tune seemed to be played at the same beat, which was different. I think it even confused Mike a few times as to which he was supposed to be singing. Bummed we didn't get to hear where the devil don't stay. Did not dig the solo walk off stage at the end of the night. No band pose for pics. First time at the Eastern. Nice venue for a concrete and metal building, multiple levels, good acoustics, you can see the band really well from so many different places, both standing and sitting. Bathrooms were a challenge to find. Cool roof top bar with a decent size video screen showing live on stage. Not much street parking and garage charged me $30, so I had to skip buying drinks. Revitalized area tho

Totally rocked. One of my favorite bands I hadn’t seen in about 15 years. The first time I saw them I was too drunk to appreciate them. This time, I hung onto every moment. They destroyed. Amazing band, amazing songwriting, absolutely blew me away.

What a show. 2 1/2 hours of high energy DBT! As usual the Belly Up was amazing and it was PACKED for a Tuesday night show. Great job, come back soon

Great show. Started out with a lot of their older tunes from Dirty South and Decoration Day and flowed into some if their more recent music. Was hoping for Sweet Annette, Outfit, and even Decoration Day but I think the stuff that Jason wrote back in the day they don’t typically play much anymore. Overall they were high energy but possibly disappointed with a less than enthusiastic crowd. Was one of the lowest energy crowds I’ve seen all summer.

The DBT put on a very good show Saturday night. Lot's of energy on stage. The fans loved every minute of it. Thank You OP for a great evening.

Levon’s home brings out the best in every artist, DBT was no exception. With a few rarely played selections and some help from Lydia Loveless the band was clearly feeling the space. Paterson’s stories about meeting and playing with Levon have some verbal history to why we were all there and feeling special.

Drive By Truckers tore it up for 2hrs and 10 minutes @ the 9:30 Club last night. Awesome "Rock" show. Mike& Patterson and the boys really delivered.

Drive By Truckers and opening act Lydia Loveless work hard for the money. Together they played a roughly three and a half hour show with very little let-up. While focusing on their latest album, Welcome to Club XIII, DBT also gave a basic career survey with cuts that reached into some deep cuts from The Dirty South, Southern Rock Opera along with other catalogue highlights, as well as a rousing cover of Springsteen’s “State Trooper.” On stage, as well as on record, Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley swapped vocals and played to each other’s strengths. Most of all, thry and the whole band rocked hard. They didn’t shortchange the audience.

The Band was fantastic, as usual... but the sound system was terrible! Could not understand the voices! For all the money the Floridian spent renovating the State Theater, they should have gotten a much better sound system! and maybe a screen for us short fans to be able to SEE the show too~ Disappinted with the Venue. Still love DBT though~

Always a bit nervous about the set list when seeing DBT because they can't possibly play everything I want to hear because there's so much of it. I was pretty happy with what I heard, especially from Cooley. Didn't get Zip City, but did get a half dozen of the bangers I would have asked for, which is great, all things considered. Probably the best Sunday night show I've been to.

Great solo concert! Loved the opening act too! The acoustics at the Globe hall are great. Sound engineer was spot on. The staff at the Globe Hall was all around—excellent. What a cool venue.

Stunning old school DBT club show as when I started seeing em at Abbey Pub n Schubas back in the day - was fun to hand out some copies of those to fans. Raucous rock n roll with the three guitar attack, all their old songs mostly SRO and prior with a few new ones sprinkled in. Boys in rare form, pre gaming in the back room with a bottle of whiskey, miss them passing it around to fans as they used to…. Never miss a dbt show!

Seeing mike Cooley play my favorite songs unplugged, acoustic up front and personal in such an intimate venue with only 50 fans chilling on couches and cozy chairs was such a great unique experience.

I’ve seen DBT several times. They are always high energy and such great performers. This show was no different. As usual they played a variety of songs from their library, and I was really pumped to hear some I’d never heard live. Even with seeing them 2 weeks prior. The sound was great even with me being in the very front and arguably not getting the best angles from all the amps. The venue itself was very clean and unique. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the bathrooms were clean. I’ll go just about anywhere to see DBT, but I’d definitely go back to Neighborhood Theater to see other acts.

DBT is a fantastic band, I would recommend listening to their fabulous music especially live to truly appreciate these very talented musicians, I wish they would come to the Toronto area more often. Thank you DBT for a fantastic evening of music at the Danforth Music Hall. Duayne and Sue.

Great show! Lydia Loveless opening was very good, she has a powerful voice. DBT put on an awesome show as always!! Venue worked on very well also.

Not quiet as good as when I saw them in 2019, new album probably doesn’t have many future live standards so that’s probably the reason. still a great show they played almost constantly for 2 hour and 15 minutes. Kicked ass.
