Allie began her artistic journey as a teenager in her native Dallas, TX, where she began as a local songwriter and frontman of a three piece band that toured the state and performed her originals for three years. In 2010, she concluded her musical education at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and moved to Nashville.
From there, Allie Farris toured the country over several years, performing in house concerts large and small, theaters, and festivals; as well as competing and winning or being named a finalist in several prestigious songwriting contests, most notably the NPR Newsong Contest, where she performed at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Always writing new material and pursuing exciting new creative directions, Allie Farris is a prolific writer and performer, currently playing 5 nights a week in Nashville at Tartufo Restaurant.
