Dj Phive Star is more than your average DJ, he is also a genre bending VJ. He utilizes today’s entertainment media to sync with his music in real time whenever he performs. Phive Star made a name for himself djing college parties and clubs throughout Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia where he obtained his M.F.A. in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). During his time at SCAD, his skills on the turntables, high energy level performances, and passion for music quickly made him an in-demand act. Eventually, he became the resident DJ at Tree House, Savannah’s hottest dance club. Phive Star also became one of the main Dj’s for the Savannah College of Art and Design by djing the majority of their events, and festivals as well as producing remixed tracks for their commencement ceremonies. Phive Star continues to DJ for parties, clubs, exclusive events, and music artists. He has performed with electric violinist Sarah Charness, and opened for artists such as Brett Dennen, Lucero, and Mute Math. Phive Star has also appeared on television networks such as Lifetime and performed for companies such as Lyft and Vogue.
