The VIP meet n greet started in a disappointing fashion. First, we stood outside in the warm Phoenix weather for over an hour waiting. Second, they had some technical difficulties so we didn't ha e time for autographs (sorry vinyl record collection). After we got inside, it all pretty much changed. The band was super fun and played us 3 songs as part of VIP (Blood and Sugar, Cry, Two is Better Than One w/Martin's wife singing Taylor's part). Naomi singing with Marin while their two precious girls were running around and being held (with headphones on) was beyond precious. That song and seeing Martin and Naomi sing together was worth the price of admission. When i got my picture taken with the band, the guys were super fun and made the best of the little time we had. After my pictures, i visited with Naomi, who was an absolutely sweet girl. We talked about how her and Martin met and her girls and how I became a fan of the band. VIP was amazing and the "above and beyond" moments were them playing "cry" (my request, which i had never heard live) and the duet between Martin and Naomi and then my time with Naomi. The concert itself was great. Arrows were better than expected and left me wanting more. I Don't know How... was also very fun and interacted with the fans including looking straight at me, with a snarky but playful expression, seconds before their first song "Nobody likes the opening band" and saying "NO" in response to me yelling "I like the opening band"! They are a lot more fun live than i expected based on studio recordings. BLG was amazing. Playing the first two albums in full with a brief intermission was so much fun. Hearing some deep cuts like "Me, You and my Medication", "Someone Like You", "Holiday", "Go", "Broken Man" and others was so definitely unique and worth it for them to do the tour this way. Wish the tour was longer or that i could go see the show again. I look forward to them doing a show with some deep cuts off Foxwoods ("Lost in Wonderland" and "Brooklyn state of Mind" please!) Bottom line. Worth every penny and every minute in the sun. BLG rock!

Loved the energy and sooooo happy to have seen you all live. Hated that I missed your show in KC and hope you can make it back soon, so my kiddo can enjoy your concert as well. Vinyl, Tapes, Radio, CD and stream music is amazing but to see the Artist live is the best for the showmanship and passion cant be placed through a speaker alone.

10/10. Best show I have seen in a long time!!! Boys like girls always puts on one hell of a show. I have seen them play a hand full of times. But this time just wow. It was my daughter's first show front row vip. We got to go up on stage. It's was a night we will never forget

My favorite moment was my daughter's fangirling, counting down the minutes til they hit the stage. I have seen them now 5 times and each time is amazing. One day I'll get to meet them and thank them for their music.

Such an incredible show! I was so excited to see them live. They do an incredible job of pumping up the crowd, making us feel truly valued as fans, and getting us involved. I’d love to go to another live show of theirs and hope that they come back again soon.

BLG were amazing and I loved the merch, good quality and reasonable prices! However the organizers did squeeze the audience into a pretty tight space, citing that the venue was overly full. The cover band wasn't great either. Other than these points it was a great night!

The shows were super duper incredible amazing night 🤘🏻. It’s quite fast until I can’t rest but it’s worth❤️. My teenage heart and dreams turns real and I sang all the songs like the hearts wanna come out. Hopefully Boys Like Girls come again to 🇲🇾.

It was a great show! Boys Like Girls promised to deliver to us a concert 30-song setlist(!!!) and they delivered it magnificently! The last time I enjoyed a concert with such enthusiasm was when Muse came to KL last year! I was skeptical at first on why they willingly agreed to come to East Malaysia, let alone KK to perform here, considering the dearth of Western artists would even consider to even do that when KL and/or Singapore are much more accessible for them. But I decided that it was a chance that couldn't be missed and so bought a ticket to go see them. For once, it was the cheapest ticket that I ever bought since I don't even need to cover additional expenses like flight tickets, a hotel room to stay at, and food. All I needed was my car and a parking space LMAO 😂 And apparently, turns out, hundreds of other Sabahans had the same idea as well, and turned up to support the band, enjoy the concert, and proved to BLG that it really was worth coming to KK. That said, I'm still laughing at the fact that Skesh Entertainment picked Hakka Hall of all places as the venue for the band to perform at, as Hakka Hall has long been known by locals as THE place for lots of Malaysian Chinese to do wedding banquets and large scale dinner banquets at. Sure, the hall is large enough to do a concert, but it's not DESIGNED to be a hall to do concerts in the first place. Even the singer Martin Johnson had no idea what Hakka Hall is supposed to be and thought it was a weirdly designed restaurant, which he wasn't far off the truth 😂😂😂 I hope that BLG likes Kota Kinabalu more than enough to come back the next time to perform here. Maybe convince other Western artists to try to come to Sabah to do concerts too. But by that time, hopefully, they should perform at SICC instead, a conference centre which is designed to be able to do concerts there as well.

Event was not properly organised in a sense that it was not on time at all. We were also told that there will be a wristband to collect but there was none. We just got a stamp on our hand. There is also no barricade between the general and VIP tickets. VIP tickets get early access in, yes, but when the general tickets got in, they squeezed their way to the front which I feel the VIP tickets do not get the "VIP" treatment despite paying more. Drinks were too overpriced. Sad there were no merch for sale. Besides that, i do like how they arrange us based on number to enter the hall. well organised on that part. Also good idea to have 2 backdrops to take photos. Staff were helpful and friendly. Venue was good. Aircond was cold enough. Sound system was good too.

Ticket indicated 7pm but only started at 8:30pm. No much difference between VIP and normal ticket other the group photo for another hour wait. Setting up music instrument another 15 mins. The band is incredible. No doubt about that but the organizer can be much better. That tickets numbering line up is completely useless when there was no seats inside the hall. Everyone squeezed to the front.

Thank you for bringing this band. Highly appreciated. However we waited in the hall for 1 hour and 15 minutes for the show to start. And the opening act was too long!! Enjoyed thoroughly though.

I’ve been a fan of this band since they started and getting to see them live and meet them was an incredible experience. They’re the nicest people and they truly care about their fans. Amazing night, amazing venue. 10/10 would do it again

Great venue. Set up nicely. BLG brought a ton of energy. Blended songs together to play alot of their catalog plus a few covers. Great interaction either the fans which couldn't have been easy on a day their bus broke down and put them behind with no sound check... overall we had an incredible experience

All the bands had amazing energy and really kept the crowd going! Even those setting up for the next bands moved very quickly and made it a fun and very breezy process in between sets. Definitely have to see all these bands again! Also state champs were meeting fans by their merch table and are so genuinely nice and amazing! 10/10 would go again

My friends and I were excited to see the band since 2020! We were glad that they did not cancel the concert due to the pandemic, only postponed the dates. The event organizer were good during the second day. However, the queue for the VIP SRO/Moshpit had some troubles, as those who lined up first lets their newly arrived friends in between the line. They should’ve added a number queue for the section. Overall, the band was great! They even gave a chance to everyone to experience 2006 again, not having phones up during their performance of Love Drunk. I do wish that they will be back soon! 💙💚♥️🤘

The front act and the main act was really great! We enjoyed the whole show except for when we’re waiting for BLG after the RJA’s performance and there were some drunk and possibly drugged girls who were not even VIP attendees and boasting that they didn’t have to pay much but they can still push their way into the front. They were very rowdy and was pushing us out of where we’re standing. So disgraceful! Yes I understand that it’s a rock concert but none of the others acted like they did before they decided to crash the front row. Anyway, I still enjoyed the show despite feeling annoyed at those ladies.

Kinda bummed that the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus had audio issues during their gig, but they were heckin amazing despite that. Boys Like Girls were awesome too. It’s like we all time travelled back to 2006 and it was one helluva gig ♥️

Boys Like Girls were amazing!! The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus were also great and it was awesome that BLG brought them out, as it was like a double-billed concert. My only complaint, which I noticed others in the crowd had as well, was that the volume for the instruments was up way too loud and it was really difficult to hear the vocals. It's been almost 24 hours and my ears are still ringing really bad. That's not normal. Just drop the volume by like 10-20% and it would have been perfect 👌
