Kilbourne is an original rock band born and brewed in Milwaukee... a progressive mix of heavy riffs and clean melodic passages with edgy vocals to offer a dynamic, captivating sound of homegrown rock & soul with a side of evil genius.

When the five members of Kilbourne get together, each gains a super power. The world is a better place with Kilbourne… Well at least it sounds a bit better. Flowing guitars, twisted dynamics with wicked vocals make up the unique sound of Kilbourne. They offer a hard hitting melodic journey with soulful, heartfelt lyrics to give anyone the reason to sit back and think while enjoying the epic sounds this band has to offer….and they have fucking super powers!

DAMIAN
Blood of the Band – Guitars, Backing Vocals, Effects & Songwriting
The driving force of Kilbourne who founded the band on the good beer and spirit of Milwaukee. A guitar bought with paper route money, a few years of a garage band with his buds, Damian took off and followed his passion to study music and sound engineering a in colleges and recording studios across the country. In 2009 he built his own personal recording studio and started writing the songs that have now become the sound of Kilbourne. The release of “Trial & Error” was the first album produced and recorded by Damian, and we are very excited of the progress for the next one, armed now with a fresh lineup and outlook.

NICK
Bones of the Band – Drums
Nick is known for his punctuality, manly hands, and taste in beer. He does great with children, dogs, exercise, movies, craft beer, local sports, and he’s even housebroken (though he does have the occasional “accident”). He has a soft spot for walks on the beach, and Mema’s home baked cookies. As or his drumming, meh (he’s actually pretty fucking awesome!). Playing drums since he was 13, Nick has a preference for 90s hard rock and different genres of metal. His simple yet technical style of playing will be sure to have you head banging in no time! Influences include Staind, Tool, Pantera, and Pearl Jam among many others.

SEAN
Heart of the band – Bass, Backing Vocals
Little is known of Sean. We give him some chicken nuggets & a few beers every week, and he keeps coming back. He’s pretty damn good a slappin da bass so it works well for everyone.

PAUL
Muscle of the band - Guitars
I'm a guitarist for Kilbourne in which I play both rhythm and lead. I played with Kilbourne from 2010-2012, but then took a break for the start of my family. I originally grew up in the Fox Valley and made the pilgrimage down to the MKE area for a teaching career. My influences range from the heaviness of Metallica to the roots of folk. I love to collaborate, musically, and grow. Here is a quick take... Voice of the band - Lead Vocals & Lyrics
Coming from a rock family, I rebelled and went into choral vocal training. Realizing my passion was in Jazz and Rock, I focused my training on my 90's idol's music. Fiona Apple, Alanis Morissette, Sneaker Pimps, Portishead, etc. I was a vocal coach for a year, but really dove into my love for writing shortly after high school. I became a lyricist for rock music with some of my work featured in the movie "Rift". After finding Kilbourne and trying out for their lead vocalist position, I found where I belong. I am able to contribute my crazy lyrics with their funky blues and rock sound to create some sweet music!
