Ami takes you through a selection of original folk songs from her albums, then delves further into the acoustic world with some classic folk ‘covers’, - she accompanies herself on a dulcimer, piano and guitar. She then shows off her skills as a classically-trained musician, with the haunting ‘Soldier’s Wife, and finishes off with some hilarious feminista songs, ‘The Mother-in-Law Song’ and ‘Al Pacino’, and a send-up of her opera days - which always brings the crowd to it’s feet.
Ami is the daughter of Australian music icon, True Blue John Williamson.
