A propos de Mr Wolf

"It's a project that consists of great passionate music with clear input and design from each band member, It's raw, exciting and relevant to an audience screaming for genuine talent and genuine passionate filled music." - Irrelevant Reviews - Hailing from all over aus, Mr Wolf is an experimental sludge three piece located in Melbourne, Australia. Through a mutual love of all things filthy, funky and down-right disturbing, Mr Wolf was formed in late 2014 by three young hooligans, all from different musical and geographical backgrounds. It all started with an ad posted to a musician page by Guitarist Sean Coop, (Originally from Coffs Harbour NSW, ex-Narcissus, ex-Daedalean Gift). This caught the attention of bassist Llewelyn Crist (Originally from Toowoomba QLD, ex-Voulturays, ex-Spleen). The two organised a jam session with Michael Censori (ex-Spleen) filling in for drums and with Llewelyn taking mic duties the trio quickly made a routine of these quirky, unconventional song-writing sessions. In mid-2015, Mr Wolf released their first demo “Schmuck”, a dirty three track first taste of the band. After the demo, the band parted ways with Censori and was replaced by drummer Lee Jackievic (Ex-Decaying Matriarch, The Football Club, Dead Planet 1964). With their new line up, the band continued writing, playing shows, skinning their teeth on the local gig circuit and playing alongside many genres from pop punk to death metal. In February 2016, the band entered Coloursound Studios to record their first EP with producer Mat Robins. The EP “Chiral Instincts” is a four track onslaught of filth and funk, setting in stone the unique sound that the band has and still is refining to perfect imperfection. Horrible music for people with ADHD.
