Never before have I seen such cohesive, passionate artists share a venue with an equally passionate audience. Everyone really gave their all and I’m still mind-blown. I’ll definitely see The Contortionist and Rivers of Nihil live again!

2 full albums, wow what a show! And Rivers of Nihil played a whole album as well which was fantastic. Love hearing music as it was intended

I’m not sure why the app is not letting me leave 5 stars, but believe me is was a 5 star show and more. Great musicianship and performance all around by both The Contortionist and Rivers if Nihal.

Memorable show. Punched some kids. Got punched. There was love. There was loss. There were technical deathcore and ambient guitar effects recorded as a backing track. Unfortunately, no one contorted. 10/10 would djent again.

First time listening to them was at their show. The bassist. The lights. The lead singers vocals. 10/10. cannot believe they were missing a guitarist. What more could they have added to their performance?? Wild.

I feel like I'm gonna get a lot of backlash for this, but intervals stole the show from the millisecond they stepped on stage. Bigger clearer sound, higher energy... Then again, I went -for- intervals. Contortionist was a bonus that was so-so for me.

Show was amazing. If you want prog/metal/rock/acoustic or all of those you’re in for a unique treat! Band performance top notch as usual... Bar tender with black hair was a complete ass when I asked for water but that’s my only nitpick on the venue. Only real issue is the location of Space 1720. It’s in a bad area of town so park close. I parked one block over so if you do that expect a lot of homeless calling you over and streets literally filled with trash and feces. I saw a few kids literally running to get to their cars around the corner, hoping they wouldn’t be bothered. Not new to LA but it’s just getting sad walking into these decent venues while everything around it is basically 3rd world country. I guess LA is just becoming to much for me. To much sadness around every street corner.

Easily one of the best bands i’ve ever seen live. I’ve seen a lot, and they really killed it like no other. Can’t wait for another tour, please come back soon!

The show was amazing. The Contortionist played songs off all their albums and played a couple songs with acoustic instruments, creating a magical experience. A truly special concert.

Great concert. Every act was great but silent planets fan base was kinda scary... overall great concert though. As my first metal concert, I felt very accustomed after the first few songs.

All performances were spectacular. Skyharbour: Great, did an acoustic set since their other three members were coming from India, delayed by visas to the US. Was still spectacular. Strawberry Girls: Came out of left field and stole the show, instrumental, post-hardcore vibes. Very Impressive. Silent Planet: These dudes are known for their passion. In my opinion the best performance. Although, that is definitely biased as I went to this show strictly to see them. The Contortionist: Surreal and Personal performance. Sounded incredible. Just like the studio but better. I have no complaints for this show. Give all these guys your support, they were all great!

Show was amazing but I would have liked to have been able to see the band members and not just their silhouettes but I have to admit their stage lights were trippy

blown away! 5 hour drive and hundreds spent over the weekend just to see these guys and AAL. we didn't even stay for the headliner, it was a privilege to see talent and creativity like this. thanks to the contortionist for the hard work they put in to make such a tight show. Amazing!

The Contortionist sounded great, Fallujah was killer, Revocation was tight and Toothgrinder had a lot of energy. Great show, would like these bands to continue to put out good albums. I felt The Contortionist & Fallujah really have that "it" factor.

couldn't go because my slavery of work ended almost at 930pm. so I gave my tickets to one of my best buddy. my girlfriend went and showed me some vids...man I was pissed cause it looked like it was fun. But the soundguy....horrible as fuck.

This band is the perfect live heavy/ prog experience! The way the music hit me was on par with seeing Tool for the first time. GO SEE THEM!

I was skeptical that they could match the breathtaking performance they captured in the studio on Language, but they somehow managed to exceed it. Also, I'm sure any doubts that Mike Lessard is a perfect fit have been laid to rest.

Polyphia was decent, in the "uplifting/outdoorsy" genre that Scale The Summit inhabits. Contortionist was a mixed bag - love the albums, but was a bit cold on their performance.
