A propos de Sleaford Mods

Sleaford Mods
Sleaford Mods have spent over a decade turning the frustrations, absurdities and barely contained rage of modern life into one of the most distinctive sounds in music.
Formed in Nottingham, the duo of Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn have built a body of work that cuts through the noise with brutal honesty, sharp humour and stripped-back electronic minimalism. Williamson’s razor-edged observations take aim at politics, pop culture, class and the everyday indignities of modern life, while Fearn’s deceptively spare beats provide the uncompromising backdrop.
Across a run of acclaimed records, including Divide and Exit, Key Markets, English Tapas, Eton Alive, Spare Ribs, UK GRIM and 2026’s The Demise Of Planet X, Sleaford Mods have evolved from an underground phenomenon into one of Britain’s most vital and singular acts.
Their live shows are where the full force of the band comes into focus: urgent, confrontational, darkly funny and impossible to ignore. Williamson commands the stage with a performance that veers between fury, wit and vulnerability, while Fearn’s skeletal rhythms create an atmosphere that is at once intense, unpredictable and euphoric.
Unfiltered and entirely their own, Sleaford Mods remain a necessary voice in British music.

Awesome show! The performance was top notch, grooving, and just the right amount of tongue in cheek humor. Lighting deserves a special shout out, it really enhanced the experience and looked great. Opening act was a bit of an odd choice to me but serviceable for the more bare bones style of the Sleaford Mods.

It was the first time seeing The Boys live. I've loved their music for years now but seeing them up close and live really made it personal. I feel like a kindred spirit in terms of upbringing and and circumstances. I grew up hard in a blue-collar neighborhood in San Francisco and feel like their lyrics speak to me. Jason recently sent out an email about sobriety and dealing with life after someone sobers up. Especially the anger part of it. I struggle with that part of my sobriety as well, and it hit close to the heart.
I could only hope to sit down and chop it up with them. Perhaps one day. They do feel accessible. Of the People and for the People, is what I like to say.
Peace,
Aaron

I think that photo sums it up. Must see. Should have gone up front but the lads crushed it.
