I loved this event!! Already liked the music but had not heard Dean Johnson perform live- the show was all I could want and more: easygoing intimate Funny ironic cozy wonderful musicianship guitar playing excellent contextual banter! Wonderful VOICE! And charming lyrics
Glad He waited So long before this album and the tour! Can’t wait for the next tour and hope he returns to Tubby’s and maybe Northampton’s Iron horse? Next year

My husband and I were blown away by Dean Johnson and his trio. His voice is a dream and the beautiful harmonies of the trio left us in awe. Thoroughly enjoyed the show!!

He sounded perfect- there were two harmonies and they were great. I would have loved to hear true love but he's got a new band that didn't know it.

For more than ten years, Dean Johnson's rustic tenor and simply strummed acoustic guitar have been perking up ears around the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Dean has gradually built a devoted fan base—strictly through live performances—singing existential cowboy waltzes, ballads about wishing one could find a way out of heaven, honest confessionals, and other heartbreakers from a unique perspective. His first album 'Nothing for Me, Please' is out now on Mama Bird Recording Co., at long last.
