The group's unique blend of Evan Burns’ progressive slap bass lines, Dylan Jones’ classic rock-inspired guitar riffs, Vaughan Xavier’s in-your-face funky drum grooves and the sweet memorable vocal hooks of Duke Domino, has garnered them a reputation for exploring uncharted sonic territory – creating a sound the band call Northern Rock. Following the release of their debut album WORLDS AWAY, they have cemented their reputation as an incredibly energetic and fresh live act, playing shows and festivals across Western Canada. Amidst the chaos The Definitive continue to dive deeper into their sound, exploring new ideas and capitalising on the magic of those first jam sessions.
