The show was amazing from start to finish including the wonderful meet and greet experience with Derek which has inspired me deeply after hearing his thoughtful words an his life experiences. My only suggestion is to have someone evaluate the iluminate/lightening used during the show that is very disturbing for us that were sitting on the front rows. It almost blinded to the point that we could not see the act when those lights were pointed to our direction. I would not use such bright lights and make them uncomfortable for the people that paid a lot of money to watch that world class show from the very close seats.

DEREK HOUGH and his show ENCORE of DANCE was spectacular in every way. It was non stop of action, dance, choreography, music, costumes, sets, special effects and more. The only critique I could give was the strobe lights made the Dancers almost disappear from the audience viewing. Other than that, it was the best show to see including Kravis and Broward shows. Will remember this night for a long time. Denise K

Fantastic show! High energy. Each dance was the perfect length to keep the show moving. All of the dancers were great and each was well incorporated. Derek was just as I expected him… funny, warm, welcoming, talented and put on a killer holiday show with imaginative musical arrangements and routines. Great to see Haley and Derek dance together. She’s a showstopper. I smiled the whole way through! Jingle jingle!

My experience, as with previous experiences seeing Derek Hough previously, it was truly magical. Derek Hough is the real deal. He makes you feel like you are the only person in the room when he makes those quick connections on stages or in the crowd. He gives so much heart to his craft. I highly recommend the show and the VIP packages. I had the Q&A package and was able to speak to him directly and thank him for the joy he is bringing me-personally, during what is often a difficult time of year for many. Thank you Derek! xoxo

My mother and I went to the show at the hershey theatre last evening and it was outstanding. We loved the show from start to finish. I always loved Derek but seeing him in person was surreal. He and his wife and all his dancers were so amazing. I have been to many dance shows and this was my absolute favorite. Also attended the meet and greet and Derek was so nice to everyone. I highly recommend this show

Amazing show!!! Has been surprised me last year and again this year for my birthday. Watching Derek and Haley dance was so touching and truly was watching a miracle. The other dancers are amazing also. Warms my heart and I feel so grateful to share this experience. I appreciate the message of love, peace and that one day we meet our loved ones again. Thank-you!

It was absolutely amazing. The dancers are mesmerizing in their fun-filled dancing and tricks. It was such beautiful site to watch. Derek even jumped over a group of 5 kids from the audience. It was so wonderful to see the dance with Derek and his wife to Beautiful things. Then there is amazing saxophone and drums. It well-worth seeing, putting you in the Christmas spirit.

OMG. The show was amazing, seeing Derrick and Hayley was magical. The show kept moving forward with one song til the next. The dance crew was great, the saxophone and drummer made it awesome. Having Derrick come out into the audience was so much fun and my best friend Charlene was able to touch him and then she wiped her arm on my arm so I could get this sweat and smell. I was trying to count the costume changes but I lost cost for Derrick and Hayley. Derrick did a dance with a dance group from Ontario, the smiles on the girls was so exciting to see. I was so happy that I was able to see the love between Derrick and Hayley. Terrific show

What a wonderful show. Happily it stopped me from thinking of all the political stuff I’m trying to get away from. Their dancing was excellent. The show was just awesome. Seeing Hayley dance like she did was so uplifting. They are both so talented and her costumes were so beautiful. But I need to praise the back up dancers as well. They were perfect too. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Thank you Derek and Hailey for a very wonderful evening. Derek is obviously the star of the show, but his wife is the soul of the show. The fact that you are out there dancing is amazing and gives people hope. Hope that even if something tramatic happens in our life, we can bounce back and continue living an amazing life. I loved the comedic parts the best. Too often dance shows are all about s*x s*x s*x and while you had some of that, it was just enough and not over the top. We had never been to Hard Rock Live Sacramento before so we were a little overwhelmed with the size of the venue & the number of people in attendance. What a show!! Everything was amazing--the dancing, the music, the lighting, the energy, the talent. What a miracle that Hailey could perform alongside Derek! We had seen Derek and his sister several years ago in a much smaller, more intimate setting (Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, CA). There was, understandably, a very close connection to the audience. Even in this large venue, with all that was going on, he seemed very humble & genuinely interested in the audience members & thankful for our presence, which just added to the experience. Thank you, Derek and Hailey, for sharing yourselves and your talents with us. We look forward to seeing you again in N. CA or Reno. x

It was just amazing!!! My brother who has Down Syndrome went with me and we both had the time of our lives! I laughed and cried and gave standing ovations. I felt like Derek was performing for me personally (even though I was in a 2nd level seat towards the back of the room). I will be attending next time he’s in town!! And I felt so honored to be there to see his wife performing so soon after her brain surgery recovery! She was just ethereal & magical!

Derek Hough’s December 21, 2023 Symphony of Dance show in San Jose, CA was sadly postponed due to his wife Hayley’s medical emergency! We are all praying for her full recovery and look forward to when a new date is scheduled. 🙏 I gave 5 stars because of all of the amazing reviews that I’ve seen of his other shows in other cities.

The show itself is incredible and worth every penny. The venue should have held the show another 10 minutes to allow people to find their seats. Being in the balcony and having streams of people coming in we missed this first 3 dances as there was always someone blocking your view. Also, staff members kept standing in the aisles blocking my friend's view as well, especially the last few numbers. What we saw of the show, we absolutely loved.

I enjoyed the Symphony of Dance very much. The dancing was amazing. Dereck Hough is so talented on many levels . The other dancers were also extremely talented and they all performed so well together and individually. Dereck is great but it was nice to see the cast dancers display their talents. Good of them to showcase them as well as his wife. My only complaint is that the music was way too loud. We sat in Loge 4 in the last row and that was great but maybe the sound was concentrated because of the low ceiling. My ears were ringing! All in all, though, I loved it!

High energy entertainment from beginning to end. Derek Hough is the next Wayne Brady of entertainment. He does it All! Of course he dances, but also choreographs and hosts the show, he sings, and plays instruments! All while being personable and endearing to the audiences. Whether you are a fan already or new to the show, you will definitely be entertained!

We felt that Derek Hough is more than just an excellent Dancer, he is a true Performer, captivating and engaging from beginning to end. The chemistry between Derek and his wife is very obvious and it was beautiful to witness them dance together. The talented cast of Dancers was an added bonus. So many outstanding dance performances throughout the show that its hard to pick a favorite. The venue itself is nice, parking is free but getting out after the show took a while. Small price to pay. We recommend seeing Derek Hough in person, at least once.

The show was great! Parking was great & FREE!! Seating was comfortable. I was disappointed in my VIP package. It was very pricey & I didn’t like the merchandise that was chosen for me. A credit/voucher for me to choose what I liked would have been appreciated. I posted the merchandise on a local “gifting” site & couldn’t give it away for free. My package allowed me early entry but no one was allowed to go to their reserved seat until the doors were open for everyone. I didn’t care for the concessions offerings. I did like what seemed to me as a VIP entrance with no long line. Again, the show itself was really great!!

Outstanding!!! Amazing! Every good word to describe this experience is exactly what Derek and his team deserve! This wasn’t just a dance show for me. My sister passed from suicide 5 years ago this month. And she and I LOVED watching dance shows, dance movies, everything song and dance and Derek honored lost loved ones at the end in the most beautiful, heartfelt, honorable way! I felt my sister the whole show! Though I cried at times missing her, his show provided me with joy reminiscing about some of my most beloved memories of she and I. I can’t thank Derek enough!

Absolutely the best night of my life!! Dancing with Derek was a dream come true. He is sweet and funny and oh my gosh, beautiful 😍 He led my awkward feet and legs all over that beautiful stage and made me look like a pro. Thank you Derek, truly it was an honor. The show was incredible! Haley divine! Congratulations to all of the dancers. What a tremendous performance! Please come back to Seattle so we can dance again 😉
