Sierra Hull and her marvelous men were fantastic. 5th time I have seen them and they have yet to provide event a hint of disappointment. Her shows are different each time, the music is always amazing and the solos by everyone are creative and inspired. Sierra's singing is great, her guitar playing is an added bonus, and of course, her mandolin must need a full night's sleep after every concert. Her playing is stunningly good, and it transfixes the audience in shock and amazement as she smiles and dances around the stage. Go see her.

Fun show! Sierra Hull and her band were even more energetic and interactive than the first time we saw her earlier in the tour. This was our first time at The Foundry. We sat in the VIP seats which offered a great view and were a value for far less than regular tickets at other venues.

Sierra's show was a rich experience, unencumbered by showing off or sleight of hand. She and her band are highly skilled, involved musicians, who can be trusted for a valuable musical experience. They demonstrate innovations in harmony and rhythm, rooted in their heart-felt bluegrass roots. They honor our bluegrass ancestors, and Sierra's respect for her own personal ancestors and community is nourishing and inspiring. I'd say the show qualifies as Big Fun, and I look forward to being a part of the audience when she tours in our area again.

An absolutely amazing show, made all the better by the beautiful venue. Ruby Amphitheatre in Morgantown is a small outdoor amphitheater on the banks of the Monongahela river. She was sharp and energetic and SO enthusiastic -- very infectious. Her band is one of the best I've ever heard, in any genre. Great sound system and mixing also helped. She played almost no covers, except for the more traditional bluegrass set they did at the end, which was also stellar. Encore was very special as she started just solo singing with her mandolin. Then the other band members joined in one at a time time until they were full force again. And she even made herself available for a very informal meet and greet after the show -- don't see that much anymore. She was so warm and accommodating to the fans. I go to a lot of concerts and have been around for a while, and this was the best concert I have seen in a long time. Overall a 10 on a scale of 10. I am already searching for another opportunity to see her again!

Sierra Hull was fantastic! She has a a great band and I also really enjoyed the opener, Morgan Via. We came from Columbus, Ohio to check out Chattanooga and see the show. It was well worth it. I loved the venue. I was really impressed with how good the sound quality was. It was great to be able to see this kind of talent in such an intimate setting.

Sierra Hull and her band bring great energy and style to the stage. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. And her mandolin skills are like nothing I’ve ever seen! The venue, however, was not my favorite. When I think of a festival I think of grass and some greenery; you will not find that at Pullman Yards.

Sierra and her band were amazing. They came out right on time, and the gig included many of her original tunes, and some covers. There were even some tunes from her upcoming release. A special moment for me was an acapella number with heavenly harmonies. All the band members are top notch players, as would be expected, and Sierra just keeps kicking out amazing tone, jaw dropping licks, and angelic singing. Can't wait to catch her in another show!

Loved this show. Band was loose and tight at the same time--really on the mark. Sierra was as gracious and energetic as always, with some good new songs. The change of pace toward the end when the band gathers around a single mic is a nice moment and a nice throwback to tradition.

I watched the show on Nugs. All I thought was how lucky folks were to be there and how fortunate it was on Nugs. Having Jerry, Sam & Sierra performing. With my favorite band. String Cheese Incident. Sierra performed Poison with Michael Kang singing harmony. It was great to see the smiles on the musicians faces while they played and shared glances with one another. A lot of extremely talented musicians on one stage

This was a “my bluegrass heart” show. If you EVER get a chance to see her with Bela and “my bluegrass heart”, DO IT. I would JUMP at the chance to see this troupe again. Sierra is THE BEST. I look forward to seeing her sometime with HER band.

Her concert at Memorial Hall in Cincinnati was one of the best musical performances I've ever attended! Close to musical perfection! While her recorded music is extremely good, it doesn't compare to her live performance! When you experience her personality, when you see the complexity of what she and her band play, it's a jaw dropping experience!

Sierra Hull and Justin Moses played their hearts out and thrilled the crowd at the 04 Center. They performed their own music as well as tributes to bluegrass icons such as Doc Watson and Tony Rice. They are so talented and such gifted musicians. It was a pure joy watching and listening to them.

This was our 2nd concert at Lincoln Hall...the first being the other Sierra (Ferrell) last week.... We absolutely loved both shows, and Lincoln Hall is an excellent, very clean and classy venue. The sound system and acoustics are great too. Also, each concert was very easy on the ears---ie-the volume was very tolerable, at least at the two "Americana" oriented shows we saw.... In conclusion, i highly recommend seeing a show there.

Sierra is a gifted singer/musician who never fails to dazzle on the mandolin. Each of her band mates were also excellent. The last time I was at PHOM for Sarah Jarocz, there were chairs on the floor and tables/chairs on the upper level - great and comfortable set-up. Unfortunately , there have been removed so its a largely standing crowd - a few chairs and places to sit up to and on the wall at the floor. Many patrons were older and I'm sure would have appreciated more seating options. Is PHOM committed to becoming a largely standing room only venue?

Venue was great, intimate. Sound was a bloviated in the low end and the sound guy either didn't get it or didn't care... which is too bad because ... This is the best concert I have been to in 20 years. The talent on that stage was off the charts. The genre was "newgrass" I suppose, but it was way closer to jazz than bluegrass. Blown away. Go see this band.

This was SO GOOD that I changed my plans for the next day and drove 3 hours to see their full show in Burlington VT the next night. I would go see Sierra Hull and her band every week if I could!! While it is a bluegrass group, they expand the language of bluegrass inserting bits of several different genres of music. These are world class highly trained musicians who love what they do, and the 3 movement piece they debuted at this concert (and played the 3rd movement again the next night) was high art, entertaining, and impressive! Great interaction between the band members, lead by highly virtuosic playing of Sierra and Shaun on mandolin and guitar. Go see them and tell me I am wrong!!! #notastandardbluegrassfan #notstandardbluegrass

I had seen Sierra and her current band earlier this year at a college auditorium. At this smaller venue, the sound was perfect. Sierra is already one of the best in the business, and it was particularly interesting how some of the songs from the Weighted Mind album sounded with electric guitar and sax in the mix. Simply a great show ....

I was looking forward to a bluegrass concert, but when she came out with a sax player in her band I knew it was going to be a different kind of concert. It was an excellent evening of great music. Angel Snow was the opening act and was fabulous too.
