Venus Mountains is a project formed on planet Venus in 2009, 4 crazy venusians was send on planet earth to made an experiment based on try to do some typical venusian hard rock. They land in the wineyard zone of Franciacorta in Italy and for that reason after few month they write the first album in 2010 with inside a song called Red Wine dedicated to that zone. The band, arrived in 2009 led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Frax and the bassist Sexx Doxx, to complete the VM: Thunder Met on guitar and Morris, in 2015 Thunder Met return to the planet Venus and arrive from the space the new space guitarman mr Eddie TheSpot but after few months he were replaced from Mick Lodrini. Their style, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock and his inspired by the great british rock n roll band like Rolling Stones, and has come to also incorporate elements of heavy metal, inflenced by band such as: AC/DC, Deep Purple, Motörhead, Whitesnake, Mötley Crüe. The sound is traditionally characterized by loud distorted guitars, emphatic rhythms, dense bass-and-drum sound, and vigorous vocals. High using of palm-muted technique on the rhythm guitar, and characterized by bluesy improvvisation. This is only few ingredients of the Venus Mountains music. They played in a lot of venues during the Birth tour from 2009 to 2012. In the summer of 2011 they headline a tour around UK and in november VM play in Amsterdam. They also play in Swizzerland and around the northern Italy in a lot of places: Milan, Brescia, Bergamo, Parma, Udine, Genova and in every kind of hole. In feb 2013 they recorded the second album called "Into the jail without the cage" and VM tour in Italy, UK, Spain, France to promote the album. They also play with some foreigners band around Italy and Europe like: Adam Bomb (USA), Havana Rocks (UK), Bulletrain (SWE), Fury (UK), Skreamer (UK), Doghouse Gypsies (UK), Texas Flood (UK). In may 2015 they start the 4th UK VM tour with show in South west UK and Wales. They also tour in US in summer 2015 with 5 shows on the west coast, one of the show was at the famous Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles/Hollywood. follow the venusian rockers they are ON THE ROAD AGAIN... _________________ Venus Mountains è un progetto creato sul pianeta Venere nel 2009, 4 pazzi venusiani furono spediti sul pianeta terra per un esperimento, portare il tipico hard rock venusiano e scoprire come l'avrebbero appreso gli umani. Atterrarono nella zona vinicola della Franciacorta in Italia e per questa ragione dopo qualche mese inclusero nel loro primo album "The Birth" la canzone Red Wine dedicata proprio alla zona geografica dove arrivarono nel 2009. La band, giunse nel 2009 capitanata dal chitarrista/cantante Frax e dal bassista Sexx Doxx che guidava la navicella interstellare, a completare la truppa VM: Thunder Met alla chitarra e Morris alla batteria, nel 2015 Thunder Met ferce però ritorno sul pianeta Venus e così in sostituzione fu spedito da Venere il nuovo chitarrista mr Eddie TheSpot che dopo breve fu sostituito dal grande Mick Lodrini. Il loro stile è basato su radici blues e hard rock e venne ispirato dalle grandi band britanniche che anche sul pianeta venere venivano osannati quali Rolling Stones o Led Zeppelin. E incorporano anche elementi basati sull' Heavy Metal influenzati da band quali: AC/DC, Deep Purple, Motörhead, Whitesnake, Mötley Crüe. Il sound è caratterizzato da forti distorte chitarre, riff empatici, densi intrecci di basso e batteria con l'aggiunta della grezza voce ruvida e graffiante di mr Frax. L'uso del palm muted è compensato dalle improvvisazioni blues. Son questi alcuni degli ingredienti che caratterizzano il sound venusiano. Durante il tour di The Birth tra il 2009 e il 2012 i VM hanno fatto da headliner in un tour di 6 date in UK e fatto altre date in Svizzera, Amsterdam nonchè in quasi tutto il nord Italia in qualsiasi angolo e qualsiasi buco. Nel febbraio del 2013 hanno pubblicato il loro secondo album intitolato "Into the jail without the cage" anche questo supportato da un lungo tour di più di 50 date tra Italia, Spagna, UK e Francia. Hanno in questi anni condiviso anche il palco con numerose band internazionali: Adam Bomb (USA), Havana Rocks (UK) VCPS (SWE), Rusted (CAN), Bulletrain (SWE), Fury (UK), Skreamer (UK), Doghouse Gypsies (UK), Texas Flood (UK). A maggio 2015 hanno fatto il loro quarto tour in UK con date in Galles e a sud dell'Inghilterra.
