Cedric brought the spirit of the Juke Joint to town. I've been to Red's lounge, Ground Zero and others in Clarksdale during the Juke Joint festival. This guy plays like his life depends on passing along the spirit and good vibes to his audience. Starlite was a great place to see it all go down. I wasn't able to see RL Burnside live but I feel Cedric got me real close.

Mississippi hill country blues - so good, check him out when you can.

This was an intimate concert in a nice venue with not too many people. I'm a fan of the Mississippi Hill Country blues and Cedric is of course one of the main representatives of the genre, walking in the foot steps of his "big daddy". To me, it was a pleasant 90 minutes of music. I appreciated the venue and the sound as well as Cedric taking time after the show for a meet and greet. I had hoped though that Cedric would also play some drums.

Cedric put on an excellent show. He performed a number of songs solo then invited the band to join him for a blistering set starting with Hill Country Love.

Never miss a Cedric show. They are always good! Love Hill Country blues. Keep smiling Cedric!

It was a truly amazing performance by a truly amazing individual. You needed to be there to understand the magic , the feel, and the sincere heart & soul that Cedric shares with his audience. I just hope he comes back around our way again.

Bought tickets bc we love Black Joe Lewis…. but, gosh, we had an awesome time watching Cedric!! Definitely new fans!!
