ALPHABETICS es una banda de Indie/Dance/Punk de San José, Costa Rica. Proveniente del 2012, el estilo de música es influenciada por diferentes corrientes y tendencias musicales, lo cual hace difícil catalogarlos en un único estilo musical. El resultado es una grandiosa mezcla de rock alternativo bailable con ritmos latinos para alentar al público y hacerlos brincar con la energía de la banda. Esta compilación de talento ha capturado la atención de muchos seguidores y medios en muy poco tiempo. En Marzo del 2012 lanzaron su álbum debut "Self-destructive" y el sencillo con Video Clip “Frutista” que fue un gran hit en medios televisivos, radiales y digitales tanto nacional como internacionalmente, alcanzando los portales de MTVLA y MTV HITS, así como muchas más oportunidades comerciales involucrando campañas, marcas, eventos y publicidad con la música de Alphabetics. El grupo ha tenido el privilegio de alinearse en varios festivals locales y del exterior, tales como Culture Collide (San Francisco - Los Angeles, USA) CMF (Canadian Music Festival - Toronto), Red Gorilla (Austin, TX), Holi One Color Festival (CR), Transitarte (CR), SW!CH (CR), Festival Imperial (CR), Rock Fest (CR), LEAF Music Festival (CR), Claro Music Festival (CR), Circulart Music Conference (Medellin, Colombia) para nombrar algunos, así siendo parte de las listas de bandas y artistas populares más relevantes a conciertos de la actualidad. En octubre 2014 hicieron una gira a Estados Unidos como parte del festival Culture Collide en Los Angeles y ahora la banda se prepara para lanzar "Animals Planets", su primer LP, del cual ya se conoce el tema 'Paint Paint Paint'. _____________________________ ALPHABETICS is an Indie/Dance/Punk band from San Jose, Costa Rica. Hailing from 2012, the style of music is influenced by many different trends, making it tough to place them in one specific musical genre. The result is an awesome musical mix of alternative dance rock, with Latin beats to get a crowd moving as they feed off the incredible energy of the band. This compilation of talent has captured the attention of many fans, not to mention media, in a very short space of time. On March 8th, 2012 they released their debuting 5 track EP by the name of "Self-destructive", as well as their Video Clip "Frutista" which becomes the first piece of audio and visual material to share on radio stations, television, online video channels and social media. The response has been gratifying in countless ways, meeting and surpassing expectations with local radio (Frutista reached #1 on the Hit Parade from 104.7 FM), video air time on MTV Latin America as well as MTV Hits, 3 different TV commercials, 1 international movie, to name a few accomplishments with this single. The band's second single "Another Mistake - Bistek" was also well received, as it was featured as the theme song for TV shows, Digital Sports Campaigns, Radio air time, Digital Billboards on the road, and several more kinds of commercial opportunities. Alphabetics has enjoyed a very promising start to their career.
