A propos de Adams Way

Ross Valentyn and Tony Franciosi were members of the band "Don't Know Yet." The band separated and Ross and Tony took their experience to a new project. Adams Way was a complete band in the summer of 2005. Before that, Adams Way was called "Tony and the Tigers." They were formed by Ross Valentyn, Ben Janssen, Tony Franciosi, and Luke Janssen. The group joined together to play a high school battle of the bands at Little Chute High School where most members were attending. The name "Tony and the Tigers" came sporadically upon submission of the battle of the band's entry form. This same contest included Marty Lamers along with Luke Janssen playing in a band called "Higher Ground" who played one show, that night, then stopped forever. The summer of 2005 passed with the addition of Marty Lamers on bass guitar. The band practiced in Luke's basement (on Adams Way) nearly every day, learning and writing new songs. The band attended college and with this came the departure of Luke Janssen. Marty took over rhythm guitar and Ross played bass guitar. The band used their Milwaukee and Madison network to play weekend shows at parties and bars. The band plays originals and cover songs that make up a four hour festival of rock. Shows are scheduled by members of the band as well as by their booking agent, Bananas Entertainment. The band recorded a short, 4-song demo and got it put into the searchable songs on all TouchTunes jukeboxes around the country. In 2011 the band's drummer Tony Franciosi moved out to California to pursue work and the band picked up a replacement in Zach Vanevehoven. Lately the band has been booking higher profile gigs and playing at festivals like Paperfest in Kimberly, Rock Cancer in Little Chute, Chickenfest in Darboy, and many other great shows. Get out and see us sometime! High energy rock shows are our specialty. Looking for a great night out? Come see us sometime!
