Deih Hudson

Deih Hudson is an Australian folk singer-songwriter, poet and storyteller from regional NSW, writing songs grounded in people, place and the strange, funny and sometimes difficult business of being human.

A songwriter for many years, Deih’s songs have travelled through campfires, house sessions and intimate rooms before increasingly finding their way onto festival and theatre stages.

Performing solo with an acoustic guitar, Deih keeps the song and the story at the centre — honest Australian folk music built around words, connection and the simple tradition of sharing a good story with a room full of people.

Deih has performed at the National Folk Festival and earned recognition as a finalist in regional and national songwriting competitions, while continuing to bring an extensive catalogue of original songs to audiences across regional Australia.
