Old wharf

Old Wharf are a Hybrid Beatdown/Deathcore group from Wolverhampton, UK, comprising of members Hayden Shemilt (Vocals) and Sam Davies (Drums).

Since releasing their debut EP ‘Reside’ in March 2019 the band have gone from strength to strength, supporting acts such as Ingested, Within Destruction and Cattle Decapitation while also selling out multiple dates on a cross-country tour as well as performing at various locations in Europe.

The bands debut EP “Reside” has been streamed over 300,000 times which prompted a deluxe version release in 2022 which included 4 extra singles.

With a sound that has been described as “distorted, aggressive and no-nonsense”, Old Wharf released their sophomore EP ‘Matricide’ in March 2021 to great acclaim amassing over 180,000 streams.

2023 saw the return of the band with an altered line up and a fresher sound in the shape of singles “DREAD & “SOMBRE” which has since helped the band gain more traction and exposure.

The band released latest offering “Wither” in October 2023. The songs are darker and heavier then before, depicting the lowest form a human can sink too before they eventually break. A demonstration of loss and depression whilst being a haunting narration on grief.
