exorcism

Exorcism is a UK brutal thrash force carving its name into the underground with a sound that hits as hard as a sledgehammer to the skull. Forged in the spirit of chaos in 2023 by frontman Freddie Widdows and primary songwriter at the age of 16 and sharpened through years of relentless playing, Exorcism deliver a violent fusion of ripping, high-velocity thrash and crushing, old-school death metal brutality.

Drawing on the whiplash aggression of the likes of Demolition Hammer and the bone-grinding heaviness of pioneers like Death and Obituary, the band channels a hybrid style where breakneck riffs, savage vocals, and punishing rhythms collide in pure metal devastation.

From sweat-soaked club stages to festival pits, coming off the back of a tour with blackened speed royalty Hellbutcher, and shows supporting Warbringer before exorcism's crusade of bloodstock, Exorcism’s mission is simple: unleash uncompromising, adrenaline-soaked metal that leaves nothing standing. With each release and every show, they continue to push the extremes of their craft—faster, heavier, and darker—cementing their reputation as the UK’s most lethal thrash outfit.
