East Capri

East Capri have been gaining serious ground in Australia’s heavy scene through a run of releases and live shows that have steadily expanded their reach beyond their Brisbane base. The band’s EP No Luck marked a clear step forward, followed by a national headline tour that included a sold-out Melbourne date and helped cement their reputation as a live act with real pull.

The band have continued to pick up traction across radio support and editorial playlist placements, alongside strong word-of-mouth from their live performances. Triple J Unearthed described them as “one of the best acts tackling this modern metalcore / active rock sound in Australia at the moment,” a sentiment reflected in the increasing attention around each new release and appearance.

Their sound leans into pop style hook-driven songwriting set against low-tuned, high-impact guitar work and a modern heavy. With momentum building and each appearance drawing a stronger response than the last, East Capri are establishing themselves as one of the more compelling forces in Australia’s new wave of heavy music.
