Hudson Macready

Hudson Macready is introducing a new generation to country music’s storytelling tradition—through the eyes of one of its own. Raised on 150 acres outside Knoxville, the 19-year-old singer-songwriter has quickly built a loyal following with songs shaped by family, faith, loss, and life in East Tennessee. Fresh off the release of his debut EP, Thank God for the Dogs, and a growing run of headline dates across the Southeast, Macready is connecting with listeners through deeply personal tracks like “If It Ain’t Ours” and the project’s title song, inspired by his Pawpaw’s battle with dementia. A guitar prodigy who shared the stage with Buddy Guy at age 10 and earned recognition from Dave Matthews at 12, Hudson has evolved into one of country’s most compelling young voices, balancing his rising music career with a recurring role on ABC’s High Potential. With a sound rooted in authenticity and stories that resonate far beyond his years, Hudson Macready is proving that country music’s next chapter is already here.
