AND I BECOME DEATH is a 5-piece Post-Metal band from North Carolina that formed in 2019 as a collection of seasoned musicians who shared common influences such as Behemoth, Deafheaven, Slayer, Cult of Luna, and ISIS. Their unique brand of music fuses heavy riffs and haunting, clean passages with samples, screams, and spoken word. During 2020 and 2021, AND I BECOME DEATH self-released one two-track demo [Memento Mori] and two singles [Aghori, Lullaby].
In 2022, the independent label Force of Reckoning has chosen to release their twenty-two-minute eponymous EP physically. They have had the pleasure of opening for national acts such as Unearth, Bloodlet, Ringworm, and High Command, as well as regional groups Barishi, Orthodox, Ether Coven, Somnuri, Violent Life Violent Death, and WVRM.
In 2022, the independent label Force of Reckoning has chosen to release their twenty-two-minute eponymous EP physically.
